if you want to know how sadistic and sick the public school system is, just do this: Remember. Remember getting dragged out of bed. Put on a bus with strangers. Sitting in miltary-style rows with bells going off. Dealing with cliques. Bullies. Judgment, competition, shame, being graded on learning fuckin FACTOIDS. The shit is sick and needs to be abolished.
@lifelessperson1993 Home school your children. And if your reply is "nobody can afford to stay home to do that", I understand that point. Then we have to ask "why can't people afford to do it"? Now we're getting somewhere! :o) Our wealth has been confiscated--that's why we can't afford to do it.
@MoneyBags73 Thankfully now we have the internet and sites like KhanAcademy, although the gov't is trying to take control of the internet too (SOPA/PIPA)
Okay....but have you considered joining the FREEMASONS? Anyway....it'd be nice to get a close up of this ring. It looks very much like a FREEMASON ring.

@NimlotArt I'm not a Freemason. My Father and Grandfather yes but not me. That is a World Series ring from when I worked for the Oakland A's as a batboy.
1:00 The actual quote is "The LUST of money is the root of all evil", other then that great points, I have a former army captain teaching me and my class economics.
Lots of truth to what you're saying brother... graduate work is more about conformity than anything else. APA compliance, don't use "I" in your writing... globalism this, globalism that... drink the kool aid... UGH! I speak my mind regardless. END THE FED!!! :)
Wayne Lin, portfolio manager and investment strategy analyst for Legg Mason Global Asset Allocation says, "actual price of gold is somewhere between $200-$400 an ounce."
This article is published today January 20 2012 on kitco under the heading 'Gold is rebounding under technical buying'. I am still rolling on the floor with burst of laughters.
People with great teaching and presentation skills should do educational videos on Youtube or other video sites. Whey should you have to wait to college before getting access to information. The education system is to rigid. When a person can understand or want to understand something the education could be at your finger tips.
It's great you talk to them about real money cause by the time they start working they will be way ahead of the average person. I show my kids the zimbabwe notes and try to explain but they to are still a little too young, but eventually they'll get it.
You must believe in money for money to work. Lots of people must believe in that same money if it is to work as a conduit of trade. All money does is simplify trade between people. So whether its gold, silver, special rocks, fancy pieces of paper the object is too make trade easier between people. Easy trade makes life easier for people. Gold and silver have been forms of money in the past. They are not the sole source of money.
The idea of money is like calculus on steroids. Its too complicated for most people. Of course spending money is easy to figure out. Making money is challenging. The idea of creating and controlling money to gain and hold power is way out there. Make some instructional videos yourself. It will test you money knowledge skills. Monopoly was a good money game but they didn't take it far enough. To understand money you need to have good math skills. Master math skills first.
Excellent vid. Good reminder that TPTB don't want their subjects educated, they want them indoctrinated so they can be good little tax slaves. Few remember that the original stated purpose of instituting "public school" was to enable the citizen to read and understand the Bible and its principles. Ignore the principles and the result is the dumbed-down, lowest-common-denominator-equality, hedonistic, entitlement-oriented electorate we have today.
it was a little disturbing seeing you communicate with your kids about money...the disturbing part is that it is very very similar to what is taught in my household. we have kids around the same age...I thought I was the only one doing this. Awesome!!!
There are a lot of subjects that our school system doesn't teach. Peak oil, limits to growth, real money and classical economics. Our society would rather take advantage of the young and ignorant then raise the combined level of consciousness of everyone.
Your a good man but I suggest u write ur own book or comic. I hear kids in the background so this education must be personal to you.. Study also Steve keen, professor Fekete, Mike Maloney, Robert Prechtor just because I like their stuff. Good vid.
Great video. I was looking for books for my nieces on Money.
A book called: Whatever happened to Penny Candy looks really good. I am not recommending it because I haven't read it. My nieces are too young for it. It is recommended for children 13 and older I think. I found it at Mises dot org
I hope they learn about money so they won't fall for the boom and bust cycles like MOST Americans I know. Like you said : be ignorant.

Looks like Eric Sprott keeps buying silver. Another US$300 million which makes the trust go to US$1.3 billion.

In Ireland they were proud to teach children how to calculate... a mortgage!
Obviously for them it's the only financial thing (peasants would need to know).
