People with great teaching and presentation skills should do educational videos on Youtube or other video sites. Whey should you have to wait to college before getting access to information. The education system is to rigid. When a person can understand or want to understand something the education could be at your finger tips.

It's great you talk to them about real money cause by the time they start working they will be way ahead of the average person. I show my kids the zimbabwe notes and try to explain but they to are still a little too young, but eventually they'll get it.

You must believe in money for money to work. Lots of people must believe in that same money if it is to work as a conduit of trade. All money does is simplify trade between people. So whether its gold, silver, special rocks, fancy pieces of paper the object is too make trade easier between people. Easy trade makes life easier for people. Gold and silver have been forms of money in the past. They are not the sole source of money.

The idea of money is like calculus on steroids. Its too complicated for most people. Of course spending money is easy to figure out. Making money is challenging. The idea of creating and controlling money to gain and hold power is way out there. Make some instructional videos yourself. It will test you money knowledge skills. Monopoly was a good money game but they didn't take it far enough. To understand money you need to have good math skills. Master math skills first.

Excellent vid. Good reminder that TPTB don't want their subjects educated, they want them indoctrinated so they can be good little tax slaves. Few remember that the original stated purpose of instituting "public school" was to enable the citizen to read and understand the Bible and its principles. Ignore the principles and the result is the dumbed-down, lowest-common-denominator-equa­lity, hedonistic, entitlement-oriented electorate we have today.

There are a lot of subjects that our school system doesn't teach. Peak oil, limits to growth, real money and classical economics. Our society would rather take advantage of the young and ignorant then raise the combined level of consciousness of everyone.

Great video. I was looking for books for my nieces on Money.

A book called: Whatever happened to Penny Candy looks really good. I am not recommending it because I haven't read it. My nieces are too young for it. It is recommended for children 13 and older I think. I found it at Mises dot org

I hope they learn about money so they won't fall for the boom and bust cycles like MOST Americans I know. Like you said : be ignorant.
