I'm a huge Top Gear fan, and honestly they poke fun of everything and everyone, hell , i bearly ever heard them poke fun at mexican's only this once, for the most part they're always poking fun at american's or some other culture. Top Gear does this in the spirit of a damn good time! Is it offensive, yes . is it funny ? You bet your ass it is, Top gear is better then most things on TV now adays, it's what a TV show should be like .

They do make fun of other nationalities stereotypes all the time. They say all the time that in germany, people are really serious and all mechanical and do everything perfect; and they make fun all the time about how poorly built british cars are, or how italian cars are really fast but sometimes really impractical. They do make fun of everything... And you have to consider that in Mx, there are a lot of jokes about Galicia in spain, about argentine people, US people, and many others

I have seen every Top Gear episode thus far, and the presenters (Jeremy, Richard and James) have made fun of the British, French, Germans, Italians, Romanians, Russians, Iraqis, Iranians, Syrians, Arabs, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Koreans, the Australians, the Americans, Canadians, Vietnamese, Bolivians, Chileans, the Dutch, the Norweigians, the Mexicans, etc.... It is what they do, and it is funny as hell. People need to lighten up and have a sense of humour

When an American was on Top Gear as an audience member, Jeremy said that there was no way she was American since she was way too skinny. They have also been know to slam Americans in other, more subtle ways. People are just being way too overly sensitive. Also, to say that Top Gear isn't a comedy show reveals your ignorance about Top Gear. Every show is laced with comedy.

@YannaStengos Regular viewers don't find it insulting and know that they are not being serious. They have a huge worldwide audience who understands them very well, Mexicans included. But what the mexicans have shown the world is their lack of intolerance when they are the the punch line. They're OK when Top Gear is poking fun as us but turncoat when it's them. I think Top Gear have inadvertently shown the Mexicans as one uptight race when all they were really dong was parodying/stereotyping.
