Great video. Both those trucks were GORGEOUS. Also,to everybody that's arguing about how fast they were going........stop. You all look & sound like a bunch of 2-year olds. They're obviously professionals. A class is required to drive a firetruck,so I think they can handle the trucks at speeds like that. The call was for a fully-involved house.......time is of the essence in this situation.

I do understand you half wit, theres a Little thing called Zero Point of Gravity, I own a tow truck company and if I'm driving with a Jeep on the flat bad I don't go around a turn at 30 MPH with it one, WHY because I would roll over, the same goes for a fire truck a tanker with 2500 Gal on and a Pumper with 300 gal on you make the Zero Point at 30 degrees over Center. This Driving and your comment makes you and who is driving asses you probably don't even know what Point of Gravity is or mean's

'fanoseagrave'...From a safety standpoint, you are 110% correct about the driver's switch. The cord gives you that 'big rig' feel as you mentioned, but, Safety is more important than preference :>)

Its a foot switch on the floorboard.....the Q2b is also on the floor.

It's recessed into the front bumper on the driver's side. You have to look REAL close.

All of our Seagraves have Q pedals on both sides of our cabs , an air horn pedal next to the Q pedal on the officer's side, and the horn button in the center of the steering wheel for the driver. There is also a selector switch on the dashboard for electric horn/air horn for the horn button on the steering wheel.

The air horn switches on the floorboard are ok, but, I still like the pulleys..that's just me :>)

I prefer the idea of the horn button on the steering wheel because that way I can still have both hands on the wheel rather than reach for a cord while driving, especially if the officer isn't that much of a horn user. The cord is kinda neat, though; gives you that "Big Rig" feel. I just prefer the steering wheel/solenoid activation.
