  • The large copper planchet could be a blank planchet used in other countries for making there coins...or possible a very rare Large US Cent planchet from the 1800's.

  • These are GENUINE U.S. Mint coins and Yes they are "messed" up by the mint equipment and normally they would not get into circulation...about 1 in 10,000,000 escape, and they are very rare
