As a person with low vision, I appreciate your solution to a double problem I experience with magnifiers. Either I need to magnify the whole screen, thus losing a orientation o n the page. Or I need to magnify a geographical portion of text which rarely conforms to units of the text. Your extension allows me to enlarge a complete unit like a paragraph. This allows me to maintain orientation on a page and to read efficiently without having to drag the magnifier. That is quite helpful.

A couple of obvious points about accessibility software:

A) Settings need to be accessible to the people the software is targetting or it's not much use, ie. here for people with impaired vision, you need to have all those settings default displayed in very large font with an option to decrease size.

B) Any accessiblity software will likely be WAY more useful if you CONSULT disabled people about what THEY want in it before and during development :)

i don't think it is. As she said, this way the page layout is being preserved which could be important to users. Plus you can't colorize text or only magnify a specific selection. Imaging seeing very bad and using CTRL+Scroll you have to scroll around pretty much to get on the right side of the page
