Oddleif does sounds a tad like Warrel at times, but not enough to warrent being called a clone. And the two bands' style are totally different. They both can get a little repetive, I'll admit, but they also reach pretty badass highs.

Been listening to Communic for years and I still can't believe that all that metal comes out of only 3 guys. Oddleif Stensland is incredibly talented... not only can he play enough guitar to avoid that "lack of rhythm guitar" sound that a lot of bands have, he has a fantastic voice. This guy and this band are really underrated...

Please stop comparing Nevermore and Communic... Communic don't sound like Nevermore and isn't its clone. Both bands are creating different music, and i love them! They are top-notch. Period.

Yes probably they sound a lot like nevermore in many riffs, but I don't think the voice is even closely similar...The singer of nevermore is probably more skilled and has a particular type of voice, while the communic one has a more simpler and, on my opinion, easier to hear (more melodic) voice.

I work in a metal fanzine. I interviewed the singer of Communic, asking him what does he respond to those who say they sound a lot like Nevermore. He simply said, "I think it's an honor, at least nobody said we sound like Nightwish". Respect!!!
