MisterYem, many of us have admired your YouTube posts for months. We support students interest in local politics and what better way to learn than to work for the good of your own school district.
Latino Strikeforce1 responded to you with vulgar language and ridiculous statements Those foolish statements of Latino StrikeForce1 are the same dirty tactics being used by some candidates in tearing down opposing candidates campaign signs.
You are a young student just learning about the political process. Im saddened that your first experience with politics has taught you dirty politics by people like Latino Strike Force 1.
The Latino StrikeForce1 email mentioned Carl Toliver. Cecilia Mendez was chosen to receive the Stockton Unified Parent of the Month Award. Choosing Ms. Mendez to receive that award indicates Mr. Tolivers respect for her and the effort she makes on behalf of SUSD. The boardroom audience applauded loudly when parent volunteer Cecilia Mendez was given the award by Board President Beverly Fitch McCarthy at the SUSD board meeting on September 14.(My photo)
Ms. Mendez is a well respected parent leader who has been singled out to be victimized by people like Latino StrikeForce 1 because she cannot be bought off or stopped from doing the right thing for the district and kids. She continues to volunteer and help Stockton Unified School District in any way she can.
Earlier in the year, Ms. Mendez was awarded the prestigious CASEE Parent of the Year Award for the entire State of California.
MisterYem - I happen to agree with your choice of candidates. Each has high integrity - a must have for SUSD board members. Support & vote for: Sal Ramirez, Bill Ross, Danny Lee & Steve Smith.
However, regardless of how people vote RESPECT ALL CANDIDATES AND THEIR SUPPORTERS.
