  • how do u keep your humidity at a constant 60 in a tank that tall ?

  • awesome dude!!! was she docile when she was a baby??

  • my rtb is only 7 months old and his already 3 foot 12 inches :)

  • what dus [bci] mean?

  • Boa Constrictor Imperator It stands for the scientific name. BCI's are not true red tails. BCC's (Boa Constrictor Constrictor) is a true red tail. the real difference is BCI's tend to be smaller than BCC's.

  • thanx pal

  • Please be careful about handling your boa after feeding. She could reurge...

It is VERY hard on them because ofthe stomach acid trauma, and it takes about 3 months of growth away from recovery. good luck with your baby. (both of them! :D)

  • thats pretty big for 10 months.

mines 7 months old and shes is only 33 inches.

and i feed her one rat a week.

  • When a red tailed boa 3 feet is it still a baby?

  • just to help out but dont handle it untill atleast 48 hours after you feed your snake if you don't want any regurgitations or stress on your snake. Also, the ambient air temp shouldn't be 85. The basking temps should be 88 on the warm side and the ambient air temp should be 80-84. Also just as advice, i would put in another hide. Other thant hat looks like a nice clean cage. good shit.

  • Beautiful snake!

  • im not trying to be bosey but u shouldent handle them right after they eat it can make them regurge it

  • my boa is exactly the same as that just a little smaller! shes already eatin live and loved it, has urs?

  • hey petey i love your set-up it is awesome and really nice

  • what a beautiful boa, wow i love someone who actually knows columbians are bci's not bcc's. she has a very clean pattern very nice are you planning on breeding her in a few years?

  • That could be it... try to convert to rats whenever you can... Rats have more protein, calcium, fats, and just all out more nutritious... I generally go by the rule feed the girth of the snake, even though these snakes can eat 1.5 times their girth. Also you can feed it more than one mouse at that length without over feeding it... hope this helps

  • Age sometimes has something to deal with girth, but I like to think genetics play a part in girth too... what are you feeding her?

  • yeah petey do a care video!!! haha. dude... im gonna start doin this shit. it looks fun.

  • damn shes big for 11 months...well shes pretty and you have a beautifull cage man

  • What is she eating right now? (size)

  • She's eating good sized small rats pretty easy... She proly could eat a small rat and a rat pup but I dont wanna power feed.

  • could u do a care video on the common because im thinking about getting one

  • Yeah sorry its taken so long to reply school, work, and holidays kept me busy, but yeah I'll get a vid going. It should take less than a week

  • was that 85 on the hot side or the overall. i get scared if my hot side goes below 90deg. but now I no haha.

  • Yeah that was 85 on the hot side... Its a good allaround temp. for most snakes. 90 is not bad for the basking spot, I prefer her hot side to be about 88-89, but 85 is just fine.

  • Nice. Got some lenght on her.

My BCI is almost 3 years old and only 3.9

  • wow slow growing chris bus panther nice red tail

  • dude, thats a realy nice looking boa!

it looks like my 100% het. albino boa

but mines is almost 4 ft.
