yeah, max payne was in development for a LONG time. I remember one trailer had the release date listed as: WHEN IT'S DONE.

Man thank god Rockstar got there just in time before it was corny on release day....It almost became Duke Nukem time 10....notice at 2:05 the guy with exxagerated body with a cigar in his mouth.... Gathering almost ruined one of my faves.

Wooow, it took 3 years, at least, to launch the game!!!! Nasty!!!

I think they had an idea with a Max Payne game close to SF version, they launched this trailer, and... TADAAAAAA.... A better idea of a script, at least in my opinion, came along, so that's why probably took another 3 years to launch the final game. Anyway one of my favs!!!
