@MrWildboy94 The soundtrack for this movie was released in limited quantities on CD, so the only way you'll find it is used, and it's expensive. I hope they'll rerelease it now that the remake is out.

Yeah glad Deborah Holland sang it in part 2. Brad Fiedel isn't bad, but he sounds like he is trying to hard to make it sexy in my opinion. But, I think its a good classic song and love Fright Night. I hope the remake is good entertaining wise other than oh this isn't right or why they did this. People can't go see a movie just to go see a movie anymore without being picky. If you know the movie is going to suck to you then don't see it. Otherwise, I like to see movies to have a good time.

@Troy48Jenkins I think Colin Ferrellis a great actor, I loved him as Bullseye, but the trailers have made me cringe at his performance, Chris Sarandon was dangerous cause he didn't seem dangerous, even when he was threatening he seemed "nice" Collin however looks dangerous, so I'm not looking forward to it

Collin's Jerry was more along the lines of a charming serial killer. he aims to impress and gain your trust, but has a sadistic side. nothing really mythical about him. original Jerry was more of a modern Dracula. dark and mysterious. able to take form of mist and bat. using either his eyes or words to seduce you. I like both Jerrys and both movies. but the remake can't hold a candle to the original.

Brad Fiedel really should have gotten a professional singer to do the vocal in this track. He is a wonderful composer but unfortunately his vocals detract from this version of the song. If only he had Deborah Holland sing this version!

Fright night is one of those films where the concordance of music and the mood of the scene fit perfectly. Brad fiedel is a genious composer putting this music together. Its romantic, dangerous, seductive and overall just plain epic. And on top of that, the music throughout the movie was perfect, example is the night club scene. This movie hits near top of the list for its brilliant music. I like all versions of this song. I prefer instrumental tho over this. Deborah Holland is great too.

I know and maybe in time for the remake they should re-issue both movies on Blu-Ray in special editions even on DVD to cash-in on the remake. When a remake of a movie comes they re-issue the original movie on Blu-Ray or on special edition DVD and that's a good thing.

Awesome movie man! i loved it since i watched it on cable in 1988 when i was 6 years old and i also enjoyed the sequel in 1989 on video, i've been a vampire fan since 5 when i watched movies like Vamp, the old Dracula, and more on video, TV and cable. I'm 28 years old and this movie rules in my book.

Do you also like Vamp (1986) with Grace Jones and The Hunger with David Bowie? there are some excellent modern vampire shows like Buffy, Angel, True Blood, Supernatural, Moonlight and the fun all ages Vampire Diaries from Kevin Williamson of Scream fame which spoofs the conventions of vampires like Scream does. Do you think Let The Right One In is the new generation's Fright Night?

@Johnlindsey289 Vamp was okay but i liked The Hunger a lot better. Innocent Blood is another great vampire classic that combined humor with horror just like Fright Night did. I don't think there really is a Fright Night for the new generation just yet but that will most likely change when they remake it.

It seems that most people around your age hate most everything from the 70's and 80's which is a shame because those two decades produced some of the greatest horror films in history.

Have you seen The Thing and The Fly? the best horror movie remakes ever done by artists who cared about old hokey movies from the 50's and made them better. Afterall there are original horror movies today like Saw, Let The Right One In and more even Scream.

Well i think this upcoming remake is a cash-in on the latest vampire craze with Let The Right One, True Blood, Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Underworld. But it could be good since it's done by a great indie film director who made some original stuff and is a fan of the original as it will spoof more vampire movies including the latest craze in the new FN movie and you have to have a director who is talented and has a love for the original movie like The Thing and Fly did.
