  • I don't have cable but I would get it just to watch him. Love this.

  • Oh man, i love this guy. I would love to see him running the us.

  • olbermann for president!

  • this speaks the truth

  • I like this guy

  • I miss his show

  • @dmc967 its back on, just different station :)

  • mashaallah jazakallah my allah bless you

  • Comment removed

  • Is it odd I find him sexy in a weird way?

  • @tarjay35 Odd? Hell yeah - why would anyone be attracted to a man who is intelligent, compassionate, witty, ethical, passionate and kind? (Not to mention gorgeous, with a beautiful voice!) You must be really weird... you, me, and a lot of other women (and a few men, too) ;)

  • @MiniRtist

oh wow lol i think that sums up my attraction to him thanks. plus he's got the sexy magneto hair going on.

  • @MiniRtist no homo but this man is handsome and very awesome why cant other americans be like him

  • @MiniRtist

I'm straight, and i'd have his baby.

  • @MiniRtist

I find him extremely sexy, too! One of the most handsome, intelligent, compassionate, and eloquent men of our times. :D

  • @tarjay35 yeh im a bit like that sometimes

  • This speech was a beauty. His words are inspiring and I for one will miss his show. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind and stick it to "the man". Its sad that the Republican allies of Comcast eventually got their hooks into his show and yanked him out. His contract ran until 2012. I will miss his show greatly. It was one of the few investigative shows left that showcased legitimate Journalism. peace out Keith...

  • Keith is the real super hero, he is batman, spiderman and superman all rolled into one.

He is one of the greatest.

  • love this guy... his show will be missed

  • Republicans in general conservatives in particular are racists. One of the underlying facets of the right is the tenet of white supremacy. I never believed that white people were secretly racists (as per anyone who wasn't white) I am half white and only when I moved to Texas did I start to wonder, I live in a very conservative town just outside of San Antonio, I wonder how many people here have used the word nigger to describe somebody in the last week alone.

  • well said KEITH Allah bless you !!! I wish the whole world has the same thoughts as yours <3

  • SMARTEST MAN EVER

    BEST SPEECH I EVER HEARD.PERIOD.

  • Beware the terrorist point-guards.

  • Brilliant, eloquent, and straight common sense. Mr. Olbelrmann has spoken words that were never mentioned by any politician that loves America and what it stands for. Newt Gingrich is the last person that needs to teach morality or his self serving politics

  • well said kieth

  • listening to Keith Olbermann is always aducational.

  • No one can deny the similarity between the NAZI Reichstag movement 1933 and the Tea-bag movement of today. the tea-baggers hold rallies foaming at the mouth about communism, trade unions and a religious group that they see as evil. all in an effort to gain political power. THEY ARE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN!

  • @theylied1776 I don't think I would go quite that far. They are, however, an astroturf movement funded by the billionaire Koch brothers. Rachel Maddow followed the money, and found that much out. Not sure why they're doing this, but I think it's an attempt to drag the GOP and the country farther right, but I think they're damaging themselves.

  • @MiniRtist The movement after the reichstag fire was used to change power in Gov't. the phrases Hitler used in ever speech were;" communist have infiltrated the Gov't at it highest level", "we must defend western christian way","we can't trust the elitist Jewish controlled media to give us the truth", we must take Germany back to the glory days of our fathers. Does any of this sound familiar? The message and the motivation is exactly the same.

  • Awesome job.

  • RIP J.F.K

From a muslim in saudi arabia

  • This is the best 12 minutes 26 seconds i've watched in a while

  • Bravo Mr Olbermann for speaking truth.

  • Wow. I'm speechless. This is some serious investigative journalism and some courage I haven't seen from the mainstream media since ... well, ever.

Much deepened respect for the guy I used to watch on SportsCenter.

  • God Bless you Keith.

  • like button

  • Thankyou Olbermann. Seriously thankyou for putting the truth out there

  • Wow, this man actually posts the facts and defends a faith that is, in reality, rooted in peace. I'm not Muslim, but it doesn't give me the right to contort it and rip it apart illogically. What people should realize is it is not Islam that is the problem (it's actually a beautiful way of life from my readings of Qur'an), but rather, the problem lies in uneducated people who claim to be Muslim. Islam and Muslim are two quite separate entities. A Muslim is a human being, bound to make mistakes...

  • @bqureshi21 Damn, you have good views.

    I'm a non-practicising Muslim.

  • thank you keith olbermann. this man is one of the last great journalists left in the world. i have no problem with him using Murrow's sign off - the two of them would be two peas in a pod.

keep illuminating, mr. olbermann. we'll keep listening.

  • Damn I didn't know it was two blocks away from Ground Zero. I thought it was RIGHT ON Ground Zero. The more you know....

  • @silicon43

that my friend is the deception of the media - the media knows most people only look at the title of a book and dont open the book. So the title "ground zero mosque" is enough to give the idea away that the mosque is at ground zero, or in front of ground zero or somewhere just next to ground zero. After watching this - i now know that the mosque is a lot further away than most people would think, there's no reason for them to complain after seeing how far away the mosque is

  • finally somebody speaks sense in the media

  • Brilliant indeed! Thanks, Keith Olbermann.

  • WELL SAID!!!!!!

  • people like Keith Olbermann is what the news media needs.... no what the world needs

  • Understanding is the only thing we need to see that this mosque will not be a bad thing. If people from the beginning want to start producing propaganda and make sure that when they arrive they are not welcomed into the city of new York. I am sorry but that is exactly what Hitler did when he started the holocaust. Its started with propaganda, and then it increases-ed to the point a race of people and systematically killed. I as a Muslim, hope that it will never come down to that.

  • Great comment from Keith. How wonderful lucidity is.

  • Thanks for that Keith. I am non religious but was questioning the location of the proposed Mosque due to the sensitivity and "Cordoba" issues however having been brought up to speed with the facts you have provided, I now have no problem with it at all. Thanks again!

  • we should speak up. because they won't stop there. sure, it's easy to go after muslims. but what next? this country was founded on freedom of religion and that includes religions that we don't all like. even baptists and evangelicals.... and muslims.

  • @ejpoeta well noted and keep the good clear head and sense of perspective!

  • Wonderful. I'm actually on the verge of tears here, but in a good way.

  • Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. And thank you Keith for making a *finally* logical point.

  • He is like a breath of fresh air. He is very intelligent, and these days intelligence has become rare.

  • Im relieved to see that there are intelligent people out there! Thank you Keith Olbermann!!!!

  • Keith once again speaking the truth.

  • If somone here can remind me what country most of the 9/11 terrorists came from again..

Oh yeah, Saudi Arabia. It is curious that not one person has wasted any venom on that country. You do know we get oil from Saudi Arabia. This a like the lineman on my school team that got blindsided by an opponent and started looking for the that guy. He looked around the biggest opponent (the guy who knocked him down)to see who it might hit him. If Americans want to be stupid, then hate all Muslims.

  • Thank you for posting this, I shared it with my FB friends and they appreciated it too :)

  • he's great

  • Dear USA, take steps forward, not leap backwards...

  • Thank you. That's all I have right now. Just... thank you.

  • .....and then a true American speaks and Hope says don't lose Faith yet.

  • You have earned your title today Keith! You are a true American

One for All and all for one! freedom ! what does it not mean!

  • "This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it." -John Adams

  • Nice!

  • Awesome!!!

  • Keep it real Keith.

  • awesome...welldone as always Keith

  • GOD BLESS YOU KEITH !!! I wish the whole world has the same level of intelligence as you.

  • That was fabulously eloquent. Well done.

  • awesome...

  • Speaking as a conservative Christian (Baptist, no less) I'm tired of Christians in the US denying religious freedom to those of other faiths (among other things). Their freedom is our freedom. If we can take away their rights, how long until someone can take away ours?

  • Are only the comments in favor of Olbermann allowed to be posted here?

  • @qbulb Considering that most of the comments about him in the negative have been vile, YES. I don't allow vicious comments on my channel (my choice), period. Someone said something vicious about Sharron Angle of the Tea Party, and posted it ten times or so. I deleted every last posting of it, because it was sexist and vile. I don't care which side of the aisle you're on, if you post something crude, it gets yanked. My channel, my choice.

  • @MiniRtist Here here. Lets try and expose some middle ground.

  • @MiniRtist I happen to agree with almost everything Olbermann says here, but I still hope that if someone poses an articulate dissenting view, and not a vicious or vile one, you would allow it to remain. Dialogue between differing views is the only way democracy can work.

  • @MiniRtist NICE ONE! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! - There's logical debate, and then there's crude irrational commentary. To those posting the crude comments, I ask: "Do you think anyone here cares?"

  • @MiniRtist I scrolled through the comments as far as my boredom allowed, and could not find a single post that was anything but praise for Olbermann. I find it highly unlikely that every dissenting opinion was "vile". That's a very strong word. I think you mean "in disagreement". Pep rallies are fun and they get the blood flowing, but it does come across as propaganda-like admiration. Normally, I would congratulate you for taking the initiative to remove foul posts, but this is a step too far.

  • @cronoskronos Trust me - they were exactly as I stated. I think you underestimate the hatred aimed at someone who tells the truth, and who outs the right.

  • @MiniRtist yayyyyy....... F the Bushies.......

  • @qbulb wow, you got severely owned.

  • Wow!

  • @skhanmd Brilliant special comment.

  • Good stuff Keith, keep telling it like it is!

  • So much to say but I'll leave it at this- WELL DONE!!!!

  • I love the fact that the liberal pundits speak with reason, intelligence, facts, and compassion while the conservatives just speak with anger, fear and lots of small words.

  • @joerobillard When you appeal to the narrow of mind the more anger, hate and smaller words the more appeal. Sickening. People in the country need to wake up to the rest of the world or the rest of the world will roll over us.

  • I don't always agree with KO, but his talent as a writer is undeniable and this...this is spot on, a verbal and literary tour de-force. It's a nice change of pace to listen to a journalist on cable news with writing talent, and one who has actually READ the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Amendments

  • Thank you! You are a true American who believes in freedom of religion and I can't believe some people would dare deny that right to other just because they can't tell the difference between a Terrorist and a Muslim.

  • i love it when someone stands up and says the truth.

well done Mr Olbermann i salute you , you sir deserve a standing ovation for this one, i hope all americans think like you, while i really believe that americans have the right to vote against this mosque, but if they accept it , then its very nice of them.

  • Well said!

  • Wow - KO is my hero.

  • BRAVO!

    STANDING OVATION!

  • A well researched and logical argument... Bravo, Mr Olbermann.

  • Thank you!!! This fear & hate mongering has got to be called to vigorously and relentlessly called to account in our political life. We don't need terrorists to destroy us...fear and hate & those with a power agenda with a power agenda will (and are) doing a damn fine job of it without any terrorist lifting a finger, lighting a match, or setting off a detonator.

  • This guy... is the man!

  • Keith Olbermann is AMAZING!!!

  • @chaplin2depp Muslims and terrorists are not one and the same thing.

To block a community centre would show that the terrorists have won, because it will prove how paranoid and scared america is.

Im not after an argument btw, just wanted to reply :-)

  • BRAVO!!!!

  • Olbermann just gets better and better.

  • @chaplin2depp

    A religion didn't attack us on 9/11

    & it's against the constitution

    Along with anti-racism laws

    To discriminate against religion

U.S.Muslims fight for us in Afghanistan

Get a clue you goddamn scofflaw!!!!

  • Thank you so much (:

the truth spoken from an amazing person (:

  • Since ratings are disabled.......rating: 2 thumbs up!

  • AMAZING !

  • I like the way he get's right dead in the ass of those fools who speak before doing all the research... ie. Newt Gingrich

  • EXCELLENT!!

  • THANK YOU.

  • i thank you sooo much.. thank you for speaking the truth..

  • Bravo. This is a REAL consitutionalist.

  • if this goes viral my faith in americans will revive.

  • I'd recommend KO for a purple heart in kicking new con ass with distinction!

  • I thank you for speaking the truth

  • Man, put in wise words that i had longed to hear for many years! Much Thanks for ur enlightenment in such dark days of ignorance.

  • A voice of reason, righteousness, and compassion. Keith Olbermann, you are to be commended and praised.

  • A rationale voice in the wilderness. Brilliant! Thanks, Keith.

  • i salute this anchor

    for speaking truth

  • O our Lord, You decide between us and between our people with truth and

You are the best of those who decide. (Tadhkirah, revelations of 1882)

Our motto Love for all Hatred for none is for eternity

  • You renew my faith in human dignity in the media.

  • Terrorism feeds on fear and ignorance.

Thank you for doing true journalism and inform the public about this issue.

  • Finally someone who isn't blinded by ignorance and hatred speaks out about this.

  • Sarah Palin and her ilk wouldn't understand. That's the problem. Well done, sir.

  • sincères salutations à un homme lucide !

    Magic - Brussels

  • This video needs more Views.

  • Because this is America, damn it! And in America when somebody comes for your neighbor, or his Bible, or his Torah, or his Athiest Manifesto, or his "Koran..." You and I do what our fathers did, and our grandmothers did and, our founders did! You and I SPEAK UP!"

  • Brilliant! BRAVO!!!

  • Thank you Keith.

  • Finally someone with rationality.

  • Standing ovation!!!!!

  • Thank You Very Much Mr.Keith Olbermann. Thiis is Amazing Thank You for explaning people about Muslims..Im Muslim and im proud to be Muslim. There is a problem Opening Mosque in Murfreesbro TN and think you should do interview about this as well.Allah bless You.

  • i love this man

  • *applause!!

  • Thank you for explaining the truth in such a clear fashion

  • thank you kieth for informing me aboutthis.

  • Thank you for being among the very rare breed of educated American.

  • @mariam61 AGREED. This country scares me with its knee-jerk reactions to Fox News. We need to keep our children in school so they can grow to be educated, critical thinkers. The hypocrisy and ignorance is so dangerous.

  • Wonderful vid.

  • you are my hero keith

  • there are 100+ mosque in nyc that serves 800,000+ Muslims... thats like 8,000 Muslims per masque and most mosque can't even hold 200 people...

  • Oh snap! Conservative status

    [ ] Not told

    [X] F'ing Told

  • 1. It's not even a Mosque !

    2. It's not even at Ground Zero !

    3. There is already an Islamic Community Center 4 blocks away, this would be 2 blocks away from one corner of the giant hole. + There's over 100 Mosques already in NYC.

  • I'm guilty of believing some of the hype regarding this piece. Thank you, Keith, for setting me straight. May truth prevail.

  • @squirrelly6886 Thank you for listening with an open mind. Even I as a Muslim, was guillty of having it pull on my heart strings at first. Thanks for being honest, real, and listening

  • Well said.

  • Thank You! Mr. Olbermann

  • Awesome.

  • Keith nails it again!

  • this is simply.....AWESOME!!! Alhamdulillah

  • Go Keith!

  • thumbs up!!!!!!!

  • They'll ignore him say he's on the left, brainwashed or crazy. They do that with anyone with common sense

  • Masterfully spoken; fought with facts.

  • An inspired, mind-rattling defense of something we can call "American" sanity.

  • thumbs up to you Mr. Keith Olbermann. No one could have said it better.

    (Thanks for uploading.)

  • Preach

  • Brilliant

  • Once again, thanks Keith

  • One of his bests.

  • Keith gave another really great special comment.
