So sad when retards get ahold of keyboards, so I will go ahead and go back to square 1. Forced induction functions to cram AIR into the engine. When you add AIR, you also need to add FUEL. Adding more FUEL means that the amount of FUEL used per unit time goes up. Milage is Distance/Volume of fuel. Milage decreases.

Really though, his arguement was kind of dumb... Adding any real horsepower decreases milage in reality,.. All that extra power? Coming from your gas tank. Who cares

Look at 2005 WRX and Mustang GT. 19 mpg for the 230 HP WRX, 17 mpg for the 300 HP GT. That means.... more horsepower per MPG for the NA car. Sorry but your arguement is faulty. MPG is based around engine design, not F/I vs N/A.

I'm not trying to offend anybody, but the supra is what it is because of BOOST. Even with, lets say 18lbs, it still makes a big difference. Why do you think nobody is raving about the 2JZGE (non-turbo sup). Without boost, theres no balls. It's the truth. That goes for the skyline and the Z and the 3000GT VR4 and the EVO's and Imprezas. It's a real challenge to get HP without the aid of boost. I love and respect boosted cars. However, I am realistic and I know cars and what they're capable of.

i don't think that guy has as much boost as people say it does...that could be jus a loud BOV...the supra from factory would dust modern mustangs, in a straight line and around the corners, capable of 0-60 in 4.6 seconds from factory...and to reply to azxdesertrat, the mustang was lucky it was able to keep up with it having almost twice the engine size...i doubt the supra was pushing more than 18 lbs of boost...i don't know where these guys are getting 30 from...

Unless its a GT500 or an older built Stang then it doesnt have 500hp. If its just a stock, like you imply, then it only has about 220-400hp. Only the high perfomance Mustangs produce above 350hp stock and that was in the 60's and 70's. A stock 5.0 stang from the 80's only made a lil above 230hp. A stock 2JZ-GTE makes 320hp.

My I4 SR20 makes 325 RWHP and the new Mustang GT V-8 only makes 300hp. Not to mention my 240SX weighs about 600-700 lbs less
