First off the choreographer never said she was bad, second they put her in the dead center that is alway between the two tallest ones. You obviously know nothing of kick lines. Meredeth is a normal height for a woman, Rockettes are amazons (between 5'6" and 5'10" 1/2) The kick at only eye hight, Meredeth had to kick much higher to compensate.
She may seem short compared to the rest of the Rockettes, but she is average height for a woman. Secondly, the Rockettes are quite tall: to be a Rockette, you have to be at least 5'6", and no taller than 5'10.5".
