  • This didn't work for me at all... was completely useless and a waste of money in my area. I'm in the North West London area and I was expecting to at least get something... I don't know if they are doing work on the transponders but for the past week I have managed to pick up no channels whatsoever...

  • hey i currently have freeview but my house doesnt have a satalite dish could i use this aeriel to get freesat hd chanels??

  • @emmaxxification This is for Freeview and will not work with FreeSAT.

  • could i use this ariel to recieve freesat and freesat hd chanels?

  • Hi there i live in a freeview area, i am thinking of buying this Arial do you think that i would get a high reception with this? It's kind of expensive now would you recommend it because i want to be able to watch my Freeview HD Channels In Crystal Quality!!!

    Reply back ASAP!!!

    Thanks!

  • @12345da1 That is really hard to answer, as it really depends on your signal strength etc.

  • How good is the picture? I might be getting this

  • @johnnomonster Average, but works better than most indoor aerials. It really depends on your location.

  • Does it really work?

I bought some other SV amplified aeriel from currys and it was totally useless

  • £60 and is available from tescos... nice :)

  • so if i connect this to my sky set top box (which isn't a sky hd box, just the standard version)via the coxial cable. Would i then be able to access, the free to air hd channels i.e. viewing sports matches on the bbc in hd via the red button? thanks

  • No, this is for Freeview, not Sky. For Sky you need to connect to a satellite dish.

  • ok thanks

  • @davomrmac no there is a Aerial/RF input on a SKY Digital box

  • @miniclip876 You cannot receive Sky through an aerial. The RF input on a satellite dish is for sending the satellite signal via RF to your TV as an alternative to SCART, S-Video or HDMI.

  • Great review.

  • hi davo, ive been looking for a product like this for this for ages since we moved into a new build house with no aerial - and are simply using sky to pick up channels but we then have no tv upstairs. Does this box pick up freesat hd channels?

  • If you are in good reception area it should work well for you.
