I was there at the Royal Court, Liverpoolin about Oct 1991. Great gig and the Clash numbers were excellent - I seem to remember that they didn't play too many MacGowan classics with Joe though, maybe Sickbed but not too many others.
Yeah maybe you could have gone over there and slapped some sense into Spider Caseys Big Head, told him to stop thinking with his ego and think with what was best for the Pogues. Joe is great as JoeStummer the singer of the Clash NOT as the singer of The Pogues

oct. 12: no (they had just finished in LA)
dec. 10: yes, and if the camera date is right, that's newport. they played brixton the next day, then the t&c.

What brand of glue are you sniffing? I saw Strummer front the Pogues at the Wiltern Theatre and they were fucking brilliant.
