I didn't realize there was a community of Aspergers/Autistic people here. That should have been logical, as just about every other human facet is represented. I really should try editing my videos, but they do show my obsession (one of many).

I "hear" you on the sound sensitivities. I am opposite from you, Elizabeth in that I am EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL.I have AS and don't fit any stereotype. I have never "fit" anywhere. In some respects that's good, because I'm not a sheep. In others, it's lonely. I wish you both a happy life together.

I too am a very emotional person.

Sometimes I think that I'm more emotionally in tune than others - but who knows.

No one knows better who they are than you. As much of a burden as it can be, a lot of people in my family tell me how thoughtful I am despite my generation. I cannot do long-term reading. I get headaches. I do very well with books on CD.

No doubt your husband is irritated hearing about Aspergers. I have Aspergers and my wife hates hearing me repeat myself.
