everyone's talking about finding out about this song through the book.. i found out about it via this old cassette tape i found in a thrift store when i was 13. it had The Smiths - The World Won't Listen on one side, and a mix of Morrisey's solo work on the other side. that was seven years ago. i still have the tape, of course.

When I heard this song, it felt like I finally understood the message of the book (like completely). This song is my anthem when I'm sad, when I need to send a message to someone, when I feel like it's not worth it anymore. The book also helped me with a lot of these feelings, and this song just ties it all together. Truly an amazing song and book.

I wish I didn't find out about the song through the book. I heard it a year or so ago, but never REALLY payed much attention to it. But, it's alot better to hear about it through the book than through like, Guitar Hero and Rock Band shit.
