I was circumcised - and I am NOT happy with the results. We need a worldwide end to this torture and genital mutilation of children. Adults can cut, pierce or tattoo their own bodies if they wish.

Think of circumcision this way.

A blind man is born blind, never had sight, never will. You try to explain sight to him with hopes that he'll understand it, but to avail. Technically he's not missing out on anything in life because life is what he made of it. Now replace all that with a man who was circumcised.

I myself could care less that I was circumcised and I have a question for you.

How could you not be happy when you've never felt anything other than that?

(cont from previous comment) I would, however, like to correct something you mentioned in this video. you said that you believe most women who choose circ for non-religious reasons do so b/c they had just given birth and didn't have.the time or resources to make an informed decision. as a childbirth educator and doula, i can assure you that the reality is that most parents make an uninformed decision to circumcise well before the birth.

Circumcision removes the most sensitive part of a man's penis. The five most sensitive areas of the penis are on the foreskin. The transitional region from the external to the internal foreskin is the most sensitive region of the fully intact penis, and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis.
