hendybhoy, great race to do. Have done it twice now, but gave it miss last year as stepped up to a 104 miler! If you want to do it, you will get there. Train for distance and time on your feet, rather than race pace. For a first ultra, aim to finish and forget time.Build up, train long with the aim of doing a months worth of back to back to back weekend long runs ie 20 plus Saturday and same Sunday, if not longer, with a 35 miler as well. Eat on all long runs and buy a good rucksack!Best of luck
Brilliant Running Paul, I really wanna do this race, how did you go about training for it, running a 50k in february and finding that daunting enough hoping to get round in 5hrs.
