Not that I'm questioning your waterproofing prowess but how about adding an emergency siphon? Have a water sensor half way up the habitat and solenoid controlled toilet siphon that dumps the water into a bucket in an emergency.
Ambient pressure habitats are self-purging by design. Air is constantly being pumped into them, creating a slight overpressure inside. As a result, even if there is a leak, air can bleed out (like in the video) but water cannot get in unless the hole is very big. If you filled the habitat with water and then turned on the pump, all of it would gradually be forced out by the air pressure. It's an inherently safe design. This is why no ambient habitat in history has ever flooded.
It is awesome. It's the only small affordable RC sub I could find with an actual working ballast tank. The rest were cheap shit with down-angled thrusters; You had to move forward to dive, and it'd float to the surface the moment you stopped sending it forward. Ballast tanks are typically only found on much larger, more expensive subs. This one really impressed me. Kudos to the engineers at Graupner Hobby.
