too much distortion from the guitar..better if you have double peds so you can comeup with the distortion..but great..i like trashy playings..keep it up..
Wow really? Haha, wasn't even really a song. But thanks so much. It was all made up right on the spot, so the crash thing wasn't really going through my mind. But your comment is much appreciated :D
Please check out my other videos if you have time and tell me what you think.
oh yes jamming out in the dark is the best lol its even better with a strobe light its just so cool lol anyways that rockinblues guy seems to know what hes talking about and i liked it it reminds me of when i just jam out wih my friends its always fun but yeah it sounds pretty good
well this video brings me memories when i and my friend play sometimes heavy :_D just good memory .. and you two play good you need bass player .. btw ingore theese "i know better drummer!" just continue your own stuff !!
One more thing, there are a million drummers out there that can smoke your ass no matter how good you get. The best piece of advice I can give you is to ALWAYS BE HUMBLE and enjoy just playing the drums...
I knwo man. Believe me, im looking for lessons, im just working this sumemr to get money to pay for it, and for things like a metronome and maybe beter equipment, but right now it's just me and my friend for fun. =P So yah, thanks a lot fo rthe advice, very helpful, once again, much appreciated.
Go to drummerworld, com, at the top of the page click on video collection. Scroll down to Thomas Lang, when you click on that there will be 4 videos, click solo and enjoy. There are 100's of videos that you will like watching. L.A. Show down Part 1,2 and 3 with Vinnie Calolutia, Dave Weckle, Steve Gadd are incredible!
I almost forgot, knackknack seems to think lessons are worthless and he's got talent. I have played all over the world I promise you lessons matter. If you have a drummer with ability then you educate it YOU WILL BECOME A MUCH BETTER PLAYER. It just shows you he is a fucking idiot when he said "Who cares about lessons anyway" Don't limit yourself to being a dumb ass want to be drummer like him...
The thing I like most about your playing is your willingness to learn, your attitude is awesome. I would get a metronome and practice with it ALL THE TIME.
Rhythm is everything, the drum fills will come. Play to what ever makes you happy and always try to challenge yourself. These are a few drummers that will amaze you, Vinnie Caloluita, Dennis Chambers, Thomas Lang, Virgil Donati, Buddy Rich and many more...
Hey Bro! We're both drummers without taking any lessons.. Who cares about lessons anyway? A talent is is more important than lessons.. I used to play a snare drum since i was 8 years old and a drum set when I was 9. now that i'm 17 I used to be original and not to copy my styles.. for a 4-5 months of playing drumzz you're good! ^_~ Keep it up.. Try to play the drums of toxicity by system of a down. It's a good warm up.. Or metallica..
thanks for the comment. But can i ask what it was that gave you a head-ache so I can change and stuff?. I just need some sort of feedback on what to use and what to change.
well... there was way to much symbols and they were so loud i basically couldnt here he guitar or anything else and in some parts it had like no beat.
Thanks a lot man, yah I was just trying to figure out stuff, and I have started to us the cymbals less and use my other equipment more, and even some more detailed parts, but yah, it's not really a song, where there needed to be a continues beat, we were just making up stuff on the spot. *shrugs* anyways thanks a lot for the reply.
Really? thanks for the input =) I'll make sure to change that when we start practicing. Please try and pass the video on if you can, I need more feedback.
Just so anybody who comments this knows, I, the drummer have never had any lessons and have only been playing for about 4-5 months. But yes. please comment.
