Hey I found the map in the same place you found the compass, it's kinda weird why does it do that. And I don't have 3ds version I have it on Wii, but I don't think thats much different.

I hate this level! i moved the block and it's in my way, now i can't get the treasures that are on the compass...but if you say it can't be messed up i believe you :/

i tried doing ocarina of time without this walkthrough and i actually found all the secrets in this walkthrough :P but i only used the walkthrough for 1 tiny peice of the water temple, after i done it the rest was kinda easy just keep going clockwise then go trough the middle :D

@TheZeldaDungeon Oh I assure you there is a way to screw it up. I recently hooked up my N64 after 10 or so years since I last played it. My last saved spot was in the water temple, the water is already at the level you show at 6:15, yet at 6:25 you say I should have 2 keys, but I have zero keys. I have no idea how this happened.

@asevrinx FYI, I went back and watched your 2/10 video and notice the very first "triforce" symbol on the wall after you meet your fiancee. So I went to it, played the lullaby, and all the water went way back down to the first floor. Hopefully I can obtain the other two keys now.

I actually use the Hookshot on the likelike at the end. It'll pull you over to the other side while also freezing the likelike so it doesn't eat your stuff. :)

You can always change the water level in order to return to previous rooms. Any Small Keys you missed can be found. Simply get the water level to where it needs to go in order to follow along with that portion of the video.

Eventually, yes, we plan on making a video walkthrough for all the games in the Zelda series. Right now, there aren't very good options to record DS gameplay other than emulation, but that is very glitchy for PH and ST at the moment.

Water Level 1 (lowest) = When the water's at the top level, sink to the bottom and enter the west room, float up to the top, play Zelda's Lullaby for the Triforce Symbol.

Water Level 2 (mid) = When the water's at the bottom level, enter the central pillar and Hookshot to the platform with the Triforce Symbol.

Water Level 3 (top) = When the water's at the mid level, enter the east door and use the water pillar puzzle to go up and exit the door to find the Triforce Symbol.

If the water's at the top level, sink down to the bottom and return to the room where you met Ruto, where you can float up and play Zelda's Lullaby to make the water go back down to floor level. To find the keys you're missing, try following the walkthrough =P

I don't if it's worth noting or not, but if you sidestep or back flip with the iron boots on underwater, you can move significantly faster (even faster than normal running on ground).
