When I first started liking her I was embarrassed about it. The reason I started to watch glee was because of the "Theatrically" episode. I my two best friends (who lived with us and were like siblings) and my mom if I could watch it and when I told them why they kind of laughed at me but said yes. My mom is starting to like her though thanks to "Born This Way".
My feelings for GaGa and her music are pretty neutral. Her style isn't mine and her tastes aren't mine, but her support for gay rights is great. Didn't care for her outfit at the Grammies.
I like lady gaga, but not everyone likes pop music, I mean she changes it up sometimes with some rock, and jazz and country. She definitely embodies the punk attitude of being different and not conforming. She is very talented in classical music, every show she does is performance art. I mean not everyone like her music, not a crime. I do however have to defend her when people say she is using us, I mean she pulled her album from Target, because of their anti-gay agenda.

i like lady gaga for what she does for gay rights and stuff and i could listen to her songs if the came on the radio or something like that but i personally wouldn't download her songs for my iPod or buy her CD. I also don't like watching her videos. I find them really weird and pointless.

I think its just a stereotype and an expectation for gays to love her, as well as the stereotype of gay men having an innate sense of fashion. But as we can see people are different, as are gay men, thats why different groups have been established like 'bears' and 'twinks' and 'show queens', which display the diversity in the gay community just as there is in the entire world.

Well, i like her songs but not because of the things she says or does. I just enjoy the songs... Pop isn't usually my cup of tea either. I was surprised when i found out i like her songs. xD And for the support she has given us, it may be fake and just for fame or it may be real. We can't know that... However, real or not, she is still showing us support and i like to think that it's at least a little bit helpful.. I'm not obsessed with her, she is just another artist i like...

Gaga is okay and I do like some of her songs, but not everyone has to like her. She kind of lost me a bit when she was going on about how Born This Way was the new gay anthem. Um....you can't tell any group of people what their new "anthem" is supposed to be. It just doesn't work like that, though I do like the message she is sending.

Im not crazily a big fan of hers but she does do a lot of good for the world with promoting gay tolerance, gay marriage and helping aids/hiv charitys. I just found this by mistake and am suprised by that. Sounds simliar to what a friend told me when I said I don't like maddona and cher. I listen to hard rock and a lot of different metal bands. Im fine with Lady Gaga. Her stuff is good. However, I grew up loving The Who, Roxy Music, David Bowie, Sparks and Peter Gabriel.....Yes Im old. I've never been a big fan of any kind of pop music all my life. My husband tells me i'm lousy gay man sometimes because i dont fit in. I guess i'm still learning. I know that I'll sound like a broken record as I don't care for Gaga. I prefer music that's more honest and real. She's just pure "hook." The same could be argued about Alanis Morissette's debuet album, but that one has a heck of a lot more depth.
