  • i wonder why they cant express them selves in thier language istead of blowing grammer

  • what a shameeeeeeeee

  • let me ask.... was this done to shame these beyidifullll african ladies? mxem what the h**l is ENGLISH, even on miss wold, m pretty sure there are lots of em miss world's who cannot speak english and still gt the title, even sama white people cannot speak wel wel english, shud i also laf at em english people cos they cant speak ma lang. that F U B

  • their first lady can't speak good English so why should they

  • @irayd09 I wonder wether English na yam or gari

  • most of this girls are camera shy, nerves took over them when they where actually confronted by one. As a Nigerian man, i know that an average Nigerian Lady can speak good English. So long as they can be themselves, get a good manager that will show case what quality they have got, manage there career properly and not a sugar daddy that will knock out there confidence and self believe you will be surprised with the product you will get.

  • @blacksparrowblue Walaih you are the manager

  • 00:54 i'm expecting something positive haha

  • nothing wrong if they can not speak English well. English is not their first language after all.

  • @akolieba They live in nigeria. They learn english, along with whatever language they speak at home.

  • so.english is for english man. You dey forget who you be. Tell that to French man, Indian man or abeg go sleep.enemy of progress

  • lol 1:52........can anybody really hear her?

  • @SuperSharry1 I was trying to ask the same question.

  • LOL at her calling herself lightskinned

  • Lmao, The girl in red killed me tho, what is she saying

  • So an African beauty queen most speak English before she can be crowned. then the most beautiful ones are still out there some where. because I have seen women in the rural areas more beautiful then Bianca Onoh, Regina Askia or Nike Oshinowo. Guy go into your community and see beautiful ladies

  • Why the hell is he asking them about statistics?...STATISTICS is the science that deals with the collection, classification, analysis, and interpretation of numerical facts or data, and that, by use of mathematical theories of probability, imposes order and regularity on aggregates of more or less disparate elements.

so i kinda wonder who the fool is here -___-"

  • 1:53 lolz

  • They should hv allowed them to speak in kegity. My name is okpeke, i'm karid bembestically, i remain myself and my very self, i'll walk the stage and never stumble or hit sosoliso or Arik. lol....

  • Born August.

  • These women are BEAUTIFUL and I love their accents! I am an AMERICAN man who happens to love African and very-dark-skinned Black women...It doesn't matter if they have some 'difficulties' in 'Standard English'...They seem to be very intelligent as well as beautiful despite some 'difficulties' articulating in 'Standard English'!

  • WHAT THE HELL

  • chimoo....naija girls 4kup....

  • wahala dey o

  • You all fail it.They would have introduced themselves, name and qualification in their native tongue first. while this goes on, they could go ahead with our offical language"english." Excuse me, we don't speak igbo, yoruba or hausa to mention less of our multiple languages to any foreigners, except we want to legalize broken language now. The Bin best language. The broblem here is that they are not nearest to the game. With these legs. I know what it is to be a model.

  • Say what...?

  • All of you saying English is not a Nigerian language are just fooling yourselves (I'm sure half of you don't even know how to speak your native language). Fine, it is not our local language but It is OUR national language. We should at least be able to articulate a sentence.

  • i hope she exuded the superb out that was in her.

  • English is NOT a Nigerian laguage, to hell with it. We have our own national language.

  • Am speechless. lol. These girls are so funny. They should be invited to NIte of a thousand laughs. Someone should put their talents into productive use. lol

  • @godwin6412 i agree!! :D!!!

  • as long as the can fuck as many judges as possible what does it matter if they speak English? hahahaha laughing my ass out.

  • I want that Bitch; Mr. interviewer to speak any So called Nigerian Language.

  • why must she speak English. why cant she speak her dialect.

  • Wat nonsens, dat one gal is just stuttering and so wat.. Noting to laugh about.. Look at ursef ur fool!!!

  • Saying "ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR LANGUAGE" is a SICK JOKE. Fluent English language is one of the requirements for the contest. Its so shameful watching this as a Nigerian, even primary school leavers will do better. I really don't know the kind of students and graduates our Nigerian schools are producing these days..

  • Who cares if dey no sabi english, why does it matter? English na Oyibo mans language.

  • I don die oh.....which kind wahala be this?

  • I erh schooled in Zaria and from Zaria to Abuja, Abuja to Delta State, Delta State to Anambra, Anambra to Calabar, Calabar to Abia, Abia bak toLagos. then Lagos, I've just been all around the country. LWKMED.

  • @niceyenuf1 I really would have love to find out what the 'one' or two things she was travelling the country putting in order.

  • @fieldmarshalm Lol! Me too oh!

  • Really? Really? Really?

  • Na mother tongue wahala caused by mainly Yoruba and Hausa tribalism dey cause this kind of nonsense. . It's a shame

  • Nigeria is fokked up menn. Damn! 1:48 to 2:23 must be a Rivers girl...

  • A beautiful woman does not need intelligence. If they did, stupid blondes would never win a pageant in America. Besides, interview these women in their native tongue, and listen to them rap.

  • LOOOL intelligence and smartness

  • Well this is Miss Nigeria not Miss England. Allow the girls to embrace their culture more than others now!

  • @hijibuzz I agree with you 100%

  • ROTFALMAO

  • jauntry ke? what's that?

  • While it's always advantageous to be multilingual, the fact they cant speak English probably means they speak in their own language, which is a good indication our people arnt loosing their native tongue as often feared.

  • When a person ask u to speak, they're askin u to express ur freedom. U don't ve to speak English, If they don't understand what u say, then it becomes there problem.

  • @tennytee It would be better if they spoke their native tongues, who cares about English.

  • Haaaaaaaaa Kill Me Now!! -____-

  • @ben4ur & @tliyyah I think d idiot actually said she's "23" bt pronounced it in her own silly way 2 make it sound like "juntry". I heard d girl in red is actualy hearing impaired (which automaticaly affects her speech) which is a shame realy, as she's made 2 look insane by d unintelligent & unprofessional interviewer bt all d same, she's far frm some1 U can describe wt brilliance. However, d only one dt can't perform worse is d delta travelling-girl cos I've seen monkeys that are wiser than her.

  • I wonder if an English man can express himself in youruba, ibo or benin.

  • @adamiclust Your remark is laughable. English is the official language of Nigeria and even these girls know they'll be addressed in English. If they'd wanted to speak their native language they'd have entered for Miss. Ile Ife or Miss Kotangora. Let them brush up or stay away. Bianca Onoh, Regina Askia, Nike Oshinowo are Nigerians too, yet they stood out. This mediocrity in NIgeria seems to be in every facet of the society; even in supposed beauty queens.

  • @adamiclust When you live in nigeria, you have no excuse to be slaughtering the english language..

  • lmfaoooo the girl in the red top 2:20 got me laffing my ass off

  • i believe those are the village gurls. go to private universities or just normal universities i trust my ladies they will fit in anyday. all i can say is they have low self esteem.

  • lmao this is such a sad story!!! no charisma at all!!

  • NNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAA OOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • LMFAO...cant take this no more going to bed

  • the way the woman said im expecting something possitve lol

  • @planetolusola...With respect to you - and I really appreciate your website and the music you have brought to our attention - however I have to disagree with you here. These girls are supposed to be of graduate level in a country with English as its Lingua - Franca. Quite honestly it is disgraceful!!

  • These are young beautiful Nigerian women. Their inability to articulate in English is NOT an indication of their inteligence. Perhaps the interview should have been conducted in their individual local tongues with English subtitle. Your bias reporting intended to cast these contestants in negative lights is a shame to journalism.

  • @planetolusola Well said; being articulate and being intelligent are two different things. But please bear in mind that these girls are potential representatives of their country. How would you feel if somebody ruined your own native language like that? Nigeria is a Commonwealth country, i.e. English-speaking, and I take it that most of them are in Uni, so they have no excuse.

  • @opeprodigy This is probably the first time these girls will interview in front of live cameras. You can tell by their nervousness and unpreparedness. They are young, inexperience and new to the pageant thing. We should give them benefit of the doubt, and not rush to judge them as 'dumb'. We should learn to elevate our people, rathern than knocking them down.

  • @planetolusola really? u wanna go there? the way they conducted themselves is a BIG clue to their level of intelligence. yeah exactly @ben4ur....what the hell is "juntry" hmmm....@planetolusola?

  • @planetolusola ...what is Nigerian's official language?...when the MBGN is abroad reprensenting Nigeria, what is she expected to speak?

  • @planetolusola I agree

  • @planetolusola, How these babes take beautiful for ur eyes? U get pimples for eyes?

  • @samenkonline so cos they aint using "cake soap" likeV. Kartel thats why they aint beautiful?

  • @planetolusola I wholly agree with you. The ability to articulate oneself in the English language, or lack thereof, is, and should not be, a measure of one's intelligence.

  • THE FIRST GIRL IS A STAMMERER, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW THIER STATISTICS OR WHAT THE WORD MEANS...LOL..

GIRL AT 2:02 IS A CRACK HEAD FRESH FROM A MENTAL HOME WHILE THE ALL AROUND NIGERIA TRAVELLER IS A PROUD PRONOUNCED ASHAWO WHO BOAST OF ALL HER JOINTS...LOL.. THIS IS HILARIOUS

  • d girl @ 1:47 - 2:22 tore me up..... hahahahaha..... i can't figure out she's tryna say

  • hahahahahaha.....this is hilarious.... i can't stop laughing..... some gurls are just blabbing rubbish..... i dont know if na funeh dey wan speak... Common gurls be sexy and confident in ur skin and accent. Nigerians make laugh and feel better when im homesick......

  • ahahahahahahahahah this is serious...

  • lmao

  • Lmao, I trying so hard not to laugh but it too much for me. Personally, think I could have a shot at Miss Nigeria 2012 even though I think pageants as a whole are objectifying I just hope I don't feel the same backlash Miss Ghana 2011 is getting right now. Oh well, unlike Miss Ghana 2011 at least I can honestly say I was born and lived in Nigeria.

  • hhahhhahaahah na waa ooo.. the supap out in me,,, the worst funeh ever...1:53 - 2:23
