I went across the street in the morning to Napili Bay, and watched the reef stick out like I've never seen it that low before, and within a matter of minutes the ocean would come back and cover the whole reef like triple high tide. It was kinda freaky and cool at the same time. I watched it do that 5 or 6 times, each time was more extreme than the last. Thank God it wasn't worse, poor Japanese
I had no idea anything even hit until I went to Foodland the next day and S Kihei Rd was full of corals and puddles..
