I LOVE MY 250... her name is Pearl and shes super sexy :-D ... ilove what they did with the body of the ninja... its actually sectioned and even without the decals n shitit looks pretty mean...my baby is a 2011 white nd black (obviously250) without the bttom decal which i think madeit look evenbetter :-D
its like hte best learning bike u can bend it so much but its hard cuz its heavy and u got ennough power to kill urself, its faster than the new 600's up to like 2004 but rly i beleive its the best learning bike,
i got a gsxr 1000 2010 ans i never wanna ride anything els, i crashed it and got a 2006 r1,, r1 more violet but less torque(u cant throttle wheelie at 20 mph) wich is a good thing :P
dude, did your friend post a tutorial on how to paint fairings DIY style? It had the exact same pattern except red, or maybe your mate just got the idea off that tutorial I saw.
i love the cbr liter bikes. probably cause i have one i have the 99 900rr but my freind has the 929 and i like em both alot i dont like the newer bikes because the seats on the bikes look like bycycle seats and the back dosnt have any dimmension to em there to skinny and small is what inm trying to get at lol.
When your filling up your bike on gas, does the pump auto stop when it gets full like on a car? Or do you have to watch the gas level and actually know when to stop
SV650. That's not a bad bike. I personally think you'll have some fun on it. Full faired or not, it's a great bike with s good amount of torque. That was my 2nd bike..I've since moved on to my Buell XB12R and just bought a 2005 Yamaha R6 for stunt. Good luck with the SV
I get that a 250s are great bikes to start on. Especially to get used to how bikes move and work and handle. But if the person starts on a cbr they need to do it small steps at a time. 600cc's are fine to start on. My dad made me ride around the neighborhood for a few weeks, and then I moved up to going to the local park (a few intersections), and then Costco, and then about a month and a half later, the freeway. After that he let me ride to school. Small steps is the key if you start on a 600.
umm im really wanting to get a bike (my first bike) im really interested in this bike... is this a good first bike for a younger adult that is 5'7 and around 240 lbs?
im 17 5foot7 also had this 09 ninja 250r for about a month, and im ready for somthing a bit bigger..... if i could go back i would have just gotten a 600, u can limit its power out put by the computer on most newer bikes so ya, still a fun little bike tho
buddy stick to the 250 more then a month cuz beleave me its not the power gettin used to its you getting used to the idea of the bike its about teaching your body how to use a bike in all situations so stay on it for longer i have a 250 and i been on it for 6-7 months now im sick of the speed buh the fun is still there
im gettin my 2001 929rr in 2 weeks and i love that plate position what do i need to get mine like that let me know..... if possible could you make more vids ritding with him so i could see how he handles is.... great vid tho.... great rides.... thanks

hey whats the point of a tank pad... i was thinking of getting one but just wondering if its worth the 25$?
CBRboi325 2 years ago
I'd recommned it completely, it will reduce future scratches on your gas tank from your pants/buttons/jacket

ok thanks man... great vids

Where did you get the tank gaurd? online?
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
ebay, it was hard to find.
rebelyell91 3 years ago
What exactly does the thing on the tank do?
boy19931993boy 3 years ago
hides and prevents scratchs
that area of the tank is a high "traffic" are, meaning you crotch rubs all over that a lot. :P
meaning zippers = scratches
and it looks cool, and somewhat provides grip and protection :P
rebelyell91 3 years ago
Lol, thanks
boy19931993boy 3 years ago
yeah his plate was all the way back there idk if legal or not but smart if legal cuz hey he has it up and its visible somewhat
kuliboys 3 years ago
I spoke with him and he said it was legal, so said the previous owner.
but it's a great spot, I can see it riding behind him, but if a cop tried to spot it real fast, idk how that'd work out lol
rebelyell91 3 years ago
your friend had no plate? sweet bikes. so shiny =D

he did, and yeah, great bikes indeed :D!
