DRIVE a plane? seriously? are you like 2 years old? because if you own Flight Sim, you should have some knowledge of aviation. and to answer your question, there's a button called SETTINGS. can it be any more obvious? go in there, select realism, and select "detect crashes and damage."

How do you put the settings, if you want your motor may ignite, or that you really can make an emergency landing with fire and your slides? and how can you really on the wetlands, without being bounced off the green bar comes into view with the word 'Crash'?

First, enable crash detection...than you simply crash and don't bounce off, cause the physics are real then. If you make a successful ditching or em-landing...quickly press p(or on what pause is), otherwise it'`ll start from the last checkpoint.

For an engine fire, that can be set in free flight and after the period of time you put in, it will start burning. Carefull, this might causes other failures at well!

I have xplane on my mac, but i would say, fsx and xplane are both good!

fsx has a much better graphic, and better chrashes (Here you can see the fire, in X-Plane not!)!

X-Plane has a much better fly physics, and better scenarios!

So the best Simulator would be a mix of FSX and X-Plane!

It's so bad, that fsx is not for MAC! :(

crash was pilot error. no need to fly the aircraft stupid like you did. if engine on fire, follow shut down procedure. get back up power and hydraulics going. glide the aircraft with best glide speed looking for a suitable landing area.

You probably never heard of crash addons. Its additional free downloading content that adds crash visuals and effects rather then the freezing screen on a collision.

Its installed in 2 minutes. So rather then saying in the description people should know that fsx doesnt have crash visuals by default u could have wasted 2 minutes googling time and 2 minutes installing time to serve us some nice crashing visuals.

Instead u say the rest is wrong when they add community to your post.

Hey, i got an tip for if you want turbulence:

1. Go to weather thingy in free flight,

2. click the user-defined weather,

3. click customize,

4. under the map you'll see advanced weather, click that,

5. The blue square thingy is an cloud/wind/turbulence thingy.

6. Edit it to the type of turbulence u want.

7. Enjoy!
