I PLAY ARMA 2 MAX WITH ABOUT 35 FPS. but the thing is when i get about 350 or more units in 1 map fps drops 2 about 19, its da cpu so its time 2 overclock

@datboyquincy That's a monster lol? First thing. That graphics card is what's causing your FPS drop....also, that's not a monster mate.

Even I don't play maxxed out with a phenom X4 965 at 3.6 and a gtx275 along with 4 gig of 1600MHz memory. You have 800MHz memory :P

Uhh. No it aint, them components are 1 to 2 generations old. Not all over-clocking in the world can get them up to current hardware. And even more so when them components were new none were of enthusiast standards (high-end), they were all part of the mid-end section. I mean 4GB was standard even back then so 3 just wont cut it. A GTS-250 is really an old GF 8800 (Nvidia changed the name scheme TWICE), And that card is even 3 generations old if not more. Read up kiddo

@datboyquincy the only thing gettin me id ddr3, gts 250 for 1 has more cores than gf 8800 and a highier clock speed than 8800 gtx ultra, stock, and i overclocked it for even more, a monster rig is a monster to all current games and i easily max the fallowing games with over 50 fps, ARMA 2, aka hardest game 2 run max, CRYSis warhead, prostreet, dead space, many people cant get over 30 fps, gta 4, i didnt say it was a dream machine i said it was a monster lol, as in it rapes the hardest games

hey i have the same specs, you will have to put the over all specs on very low then experoment from there, the fps on very low will be around 28, u can download a mod called fps helper from armaholic and it will make it even better, ASUS X83vb-x1 geforce 9300m gs 512, 4 gb ddr2 800 mhz, 250 gb hd, core 2 duo t5800 2ghz, runs better than u see in vid

LOL there is no difference between a laptop and a desktop exept mobility, now to help u i currently play on my laptop cus i am building my desktop, the next question is how good is your laptop, be aware that the average computer is not ment for extreem gaming, mine is ok not good not bad thats why it lags a bit in the video i can barely run it so im building a good desktop, now tell me what your laptop has in it , ram, processor and graphics, if you dont know look up your laptop its not hard.

ohw but there you're wrong. There is a difference in performance between laptops and desktops. No matter of they have kinda like the same hardware.

For 1 the laptops often have a slower harddrive. Although they are catching up, those thigns are still very expensive.

2nd is that laptops have very limited space and trouble losing the heat of they produce. Which often limits the speed of the GPU and CPU.

3rd is the amound of RAM you can put into those things.
