@Lanco1231 It's not a fake. The voice might be similar, but the wording is slightly different. There is also no background sounds wich were in the movie, such as the rustling of the men in the boat. And when the camera pans underwater to show the other mermaids arriving, the music theme starts playing too. It's not the same singer. :)

i have no doubt that its not Gemma Ward singing in this video. there are slight differences in the tone and variations especially when it comes to the part 'but my jolly sailor bold'. here the singer sings 'but my' pretty quickly where as Ward sings it more slowly with the two words distinctively separate. however i do acknowledge that the two voices are really very similar; deep and sensuous.
