@Sharod101 not really if you work for commercial airlines like with American airlines or Jetblue, etc. those pay waaaay little than what pilots deserve.

Naahh UND is the best aviation fliht school. But i woulkd defanatly go for ASU. more girls :) and the aviation program, but it depends what campus you are on though
yea UND might have better planes, but its ND, Just like UofI is Illinois and KState is Kansas...the area sucks. The weather here is gorgeous, the heat isnt as bad as people make it out to be, and its possible to live on main campus and fly at the deserted campus. I speak from experience.
@FutagoZa91 or BBCC College of Aviation, what you finish in 3 years at ERAU done in 2 years there, and you only pay the tuition of 1 year from ERAU
ERAU sucks unless you have the money to go there, and plan to get other degrees cuz a BS in Aeronautics is completely useless, not even the airlines give a damn for them.
if you go to ERAU, go to the military first, than ERAU. because ERAU leaves you with about $130-190K of Debt in 4 years, and since you make 20K a year for 5 years, you'll lose
@xqueensexii it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be a pilot (just to design and test the planes lol). but in all seriousness, i'd say the biggest hurdle to becoming a pilot is the extreme expense, not smarts. see if there are flight classes at a local community college which will probably be cheaper than a commercial flight school.

@xqueensexii very true, if you don't feel like you should be in command of all those people's lives, then by all means please only fly for ups or fed-ex. but beyond that, working your way up to a pilot of a major airline takes many years, so by then you would know if you can handle it. usual path takes you through co-pilot then pilot of regionals before you move up to co-pilot then pilot of a mainline. and of course, not everyone will fly an a380, which can seat over 900 in max configuration.

i dont think there is a specific heigh requierment but your obviously not gonna be a 4 foot pilot or a 8 foot pilot lol.
