This is very unlikely people. The asteroid is not that big. Maybe 1/10 of our moon. But if Apophis does hit in 2036 chances are. Half the earth would be in the Earth's Mantle Debri while the other half is suffering from Tidal Waves and Tsunamis from the impact. The crater might be something like the one said to have been responsible for exctinction of Dinasoaurs
