I have owned 4 mustangs from 98 GT to 2001 GT... Just few bolt on such as BBK throttle/cond air, 60K volts coils, pully, X-pipe w cats and straight mufflers, 4.10 gears... and sct 93 octane tune will be well over 300 hp mark my friend... Do ur homework...

alll thoes bolt ons will get you 300 or more hp at the crank but not at the wheels buddy. 98 gt makes 225 at the crank i believe and 99-04 makes 260 an the crank and about 225-230 at the wheels. ur sayin thoes simple bolt ons and a tune r gona get you 70-75 more hp at the wheels? ur crazy. please find me another video of a bolt on mustand, 99-04 making 300 at the rear wheels without any motor work
@02stangguy Um, dude, full exhaust, STD tune, bombin cold air intake, a 78mm throttle body, and a new underdrive pully can snag you that extra 70 if you play it right. Hell, depending on the application, an STD tune alone can get you an additional 30 rwhp. Couple that with the other above listed bolt-ons and you should be runnin anywhere between 290-310 rwhp easy.

The tune alone (depending on how you tune it) will pick you up about 30hp at the rear wheels. Let alone the 15-20 you can pick up from a fine exhaust system plus the average 10-13 hp at the rear wheels from an underdrive pulley, a good +20rwhp from an average Cold Air intake will get you right into those 290+rwhp marks.

The PI motors had revised heads, cams and manifold, and that only gave it about an extra 40hp.

So no, they wouldn't necessarily put the parts in themselves. Nickle and dime gets you far in life, up until the point that you've reached the threshold itself, then it's forced induction all the way. But 50-70 additional rwhp is not unheard of.
My god at the sound. What bolt on's does this have? 290whp is very good. I'd like to know a ballpark figure on my GT's power. The only mods I have lacking in the bolt ons are UDP,throttle body and upper plenum. My mods are on my videos. and that is one of the best sounding GT's I have ever heard.
