  • Oh, sweet baby Jesus. Everybody is retarded.

  • Totally agree with u below

  • So, Sesame Street pulled Katy Perry's sing along episode fir a parody of True Blood...are you kidding me? They pulled the intended KP video because parents thought that her breasts were too big and that her dress showed too much cleavage, only to replace it with a show that's an inch away from a soft-core porno?...makes perfect sense. What parents failed to realize is that children don't understand the concept of cleavage. To them, it's just a part on your body. Life is just full of mysteries...

  • This is too cute!

  • My daughter LOVES this skit and asks to watch it over and over. I think it's pretty great too but I've seen it enough!

  • Where are the sexy girls dancing, the kids with blood on their faces and the religious symbols?

  • @Alfadore You mean the kid with strawberries on his face?

  • @matt4045 The kids from the intro

  • @Alfadore Exactly, it's not blood he's eating strawberries.

  • @matt4045 It looks like blood

  • id rather watch this than twilight

  • @drwhotvwam LOL! That's for making me laugh! I totally agree!

  • @ChicaPhoto lol thank you, twilight is just so awfull, the worst acting ever

  • @drwhotvwam You made me laugh again! lol! True Blood is full of excellent actors. If you love the whole vamp genre I recommend a film called "The Hunger", a vampire film featuring David Bowie, Susan Saradon and Catherine Deneave, it's a cult classic, not a lot of people know about it but it has great actors in it and it's sexy, kinda like True Blood. That's my vamp movie tip for you. lol.

  • @ChicaPhoto many thanks, i might check it out :) i do like vampire things buffy and angel of course, the lost boys and you cant beat the old hammer horrors lol..........well maybe you can beat a hammer actually

  • Ahahahaha this is the best! I love the opening sequence hahaha

  • Gay characters on sesame street hahaha awesome

  • @igotthatpma123

What, are Bert and Ernie working as cooks in this skit?

  • Stupid

  • Omg Lafyette lol (did I spell that right)

  • just like sookie in people's business

  • High School Musical is my favorite Sesame Street Parody. :-)

  • Leon Thomas brings me here!

  • hahaha his hair

  • My god, as an adult this video taught me so many important things. Such as how to make the perfect excuse....

    Airport Employee: Passport, Sir?

Me: I dont have a passport....but I do have this broken watch!

  • Interesting that a childrens program would an adult program. Wuts next, Desperate housewives?

  • Comment removed

  • @Gothdancer67 Look for Desperate Houseplants

  • "i wanna buy true mud with youuuu" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD

  • A True Blood parody on Sesame Street?? What are the odds?

  • Where is the Count?

  • lol the lafayette puppet in the beginning

  • @John106678, they did one of glee, that was very accurate.

  • SOOKEH! SOOKEH!

  • Why would they even make a sketch of that?

  • wot da fuck.

  • All these comments made me think. What did childred do before crazy people started saying everything was bad for them. It's only in the last 300 years or so violence and sex have been taboo for children. You should all read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

  • wow.

  • The Sam puppet was brilliant!

  • hahahahahahahaha omfg

  • Whats next sesame street game of thrones

  • Wow! Sookie is exactly that dumb as in the show. And Lafayette... LOL :D

  • I LOVE THIS!!!! I did watch it with my kid and i was cracking up!!! Bill Compton and Sookie look hilarious

  • hahahahah Laura: lovin' it????

  • 0:17 = lafayette

  • prince of persia muppet.

  • ive never seen true blood as a child should have never seen true blood also. all i saw was how to rhyme mud and it was hillarious when he started flippin all around. This kind of thinking could boost sesame streets ratings.

  • 1:38 DR. SEUSS!!!

  • I love it lolz soo funny :)

  • I LOVE WHAT WE ARE TEACHING OUR KIDS!

  • really i think they put adult show spoofs on cause parents are forced to watch with their kids ( at least i am ) and no the kids wont get it, but the will learn something else with in it... in this case how to rhyme mud. and the parents get a laugh out of it making it truly entertaining for child and adult.

  • i love true blood and love comedy but this was so bad i've never wanted to stab myself in the eye more.

  • Shame this is not the whole skit :(

  • YES!!! lol

  • Oh my God! Wow...

  • Omg...seriously lol

  • .....why would sesame street need to do a parody for a vampire show that has blood, violence, and lot and lots and lots of sex???? Lil kids shouldn't even KNOW True Blood.....oh well....

  • @wicthangel Because it's one of the most popular tv shows in the world. And, Sesame Street often puts things in for the parents. Half the celebrity guests that are on there, the kids never heard of.... but the parents have. I don't know one child that knows who Seth Green is but he's on there a lot.

  • @shadoehaze ....i didn't know seth green was on there....i haven't this show since i was like 10.

  • @wicthangel Yea. They shouldn't. Which means they have no idea what the skit is about other then the fact that it's teaching them how to rhyme Mud. It's done for the parents who has to watch the show's with their kids.

I'll never understand why people get so upset with this kind of stuff. If your kids don't know what's it about then there is no harm in it. I mean I went back and watched some old kids shows there a while ago (I'm 24) and I couldn't get over all the stuff I miss.

  • As a parent of three young boys, I can assure you they've NEVER seen a minute of True Blood, and had no idea why I was getting such s kick out of this. My husband and I just loved this skit and it's just another example of Sesame Street keeping current with the times while maintaining quality educational television for our children! Nice to keep the patents entertained with little bits like this :) thank you sesame, from a lifelong fan!

  • @Lizzeees U cant assure that ur boys havent seen True Blood cause if they got a computer or cell phone then they may have a chance to see the show on there..lol.Maybe they saw it@a frds house..lol???How about being a fan of True Blood???

  • The Lafayette muppet looked so cool

  • OMG i <3 this. Cute and a parody of one shows.

  • Who the hell is She Hulk to judge?

  • Lol American Sesame Street is so much more awesome then Dutch Sesame Street.

  • Y r ppl so offended by this??? No child should know where this skit is from, and if they do that means u r not doin ur job as a parent my son was trying to figure out y I was laughing so hard y was he wondering u ask? Cuz he don't know wtf true blood is

  • this was on this morning! Hahaha this is awesome

  • LUV it when sesame street take the mickey out of top shows, ads...ie. 30 Rock, Law & Order, etc...brilliant!

  • I take offense to this! I happen to be a TRUBIE!

  • i love this video thats a great cartoon

  • Bud Dearborne has a "True dud". But no "True Bud" reference? I really like True Blood.

  • hahahahaha they dnt let their kids see katy perry on sesame street but they let them see true blood with is close to being a porno.

  • Does Sesame Street and Trueblood have the same audience?

  • This was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time on Sesame Street. I laughed the whole time it was on and my godson just looked at me.

  • Anyone know where I can find the full version of this at similar or better quality?

  • She's prettier than the the real Sooky. Hahahaha! XD

  • OMG!!!> That was great..... and yes... children DO need to go outside... At least they got Bud Dearborne... that was a surprise.

  • This was tooo cute!!!

  • Example of Good Parenting: You watch this with your child and they don't understand why you are laughing so hard.

Example of Bad Parenting: You watch this with your child and they ask where's the blood and boobies?

  • @scrap183 Who gives a fuck what your kids watch! It's the lack of explaining it to them NOT the content of the shows ffs! I say it's the bad parents that rry to hide a shield their child from the world rather then take them by the had and teaching them about the good AND the bad.. Not just the good. If your kid watches someone get stabbed on TV and then goes and stabs somone.. That's the parents fault for not teaching them that TV is fake! Not the shows fault for being violent! Think morons!

  • @BALPHAZAR1701 Don't call people morons when you think 5 year olds should watch True Blood. Desensitisation to violence is not a good thing.

  • ......the fuck? I prefer True Blood thanks :)

  • If your kid saw this sketch and knew right away it was a parody of TrueBlood, u might wanna rethink your parenting skills!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Amazing.

  • Was that guy with the broken watch a sheriff or a sheriff's deputy?

  • I wish the real Bill would flip his hair like muppet Bill keeps doing xDD

  • Tara is the green one? Lmfai

  • i thought they were going to involve count von count, but seems to me this sketch is completely irrelevant to vamps.

  • @avalita139607 I agree. This could have been the perfect opportunity for a Count Von Count appearance x]

  • what is sesame street doing anyway making a parody of trueblood doesnt anyone else think that this is a little wrong believe it or not some kids will make that connection and figure it out.

  • Sesame Street has always been full of pop culture references. They do that so parents who are supposed to be watching it with their children will not be bored out of their mind. Yeah its kinda lame, but its also kind of funny.

  • would 6 year olds know what True Blood is?

  • this is fucking amazing.....i wish they had a maryann forrester puppet

  • Wtf

  • I've never seen Sesame Street do skits like this. Thats probably because even as a kid I preferred reading to television and if I did watch television I watched Clifford or only Elmo's World.

  • @therealcazine Anyone would prefer reading to Elmo's World. Personally, I'd prefer a bullet to the head to Elmo's World.

  • i found this more disturbing then Katy Perrys cleavage.

i hope to god no kid that is in the age rang that watches Sesame Street knows what True Blood is.

  • heehee, lafayette

  • I seriously doubt little kids would even know what True Blood is. Unless they're parents are very screwed wrong in the head and let's them watch vampires and humans get down and dirty. Lol

  • @BonJoviXSkidRow The real world is darker than anything in TV.

  • Absolutely wonderful! Even teaches "ud" rhyming words too! Love it!

  • THIS.<3

  • Loved this! Laughed with mirth! ;-) But why didn't the Count make at least a cameo appearance? ;-) Absolutely LOVED puppet vampire Bill, puppet Sookie & puppet Andy. Thanks for sharing this!

  • LMAOOOOO..anyone else catch at :18 Lafayette! LOL has the jewerly, hat and all!

  • @BonafideBxtchy Are you sure that wasn't Terra? I thought I saw a ponytail

  • @EvilMissSaphy smh, thats not a ponytail, thats a head scarf with a hat on top, and if you watch the show TARA, doesn't dress like that, just laffy.

  • @BonafideBxtchy Calm down hun. Sorry I have bad eye sight and a shitty computer screen, but if it makes you feel better for correcting a kid on youtube then Thank you so very much for your help(:

  • I died at "That was a true thud!" Plus the grouch-zooming is adorable.

  • Can we please have a full version?

  • even so, kids who are watching sesame street wouldn't or rather shouldn't know about True Blood anyway. This skit is funny for kids, but the adults get something extra because they know the pop culture reference.

I recall sesame street doing a skit about law and order special victims unit and many other adult shows that portray crime, sex, violence and strong language... so big whoop.

  • RHYMING TEACHING KIDS THE WORDS!

it's one of the best sketches ever. to all the morons who don't understand the concept of these skits.

  • HA

  • omg ! Hilarious!!

  • Worst Sketch Ever!!! -.-

  • ha true mud

  • Hahahahahaha! :-D

  • gasp! true mud he must be grouch shoot the son of a bitch

  • customer:he may be askin about true mud but his hair reminds me "no country for oldman" hauck poot -spits-

  • lls ok isn't sesame street basically entertaining the adults at this point

  • just when i thought i've seen it all. lol at the lafayette muppet.

  • I WANT TRUE MUD!!!

I don't got mud, but I got a broken watch. XD

    I started cracking up laughing

  • this replaced the katy perry skit!!

  • i love how they made Sookie so stupid! XD

    i wish there was an ERic and Sam Mupet ;n;

  • @revejump97 I wanted to see Eric :(

  • xD I LOVED IT WHEN HE SNAPPED

  • Crappy

  • Sookie sounds very much like Arlene

  • THEY MADE SOOKIE A DUMBASS

  • all i have to say is .....what....the hell did i just watch?!

  • They replaced Katy perry with this rubbish

  • they're missing the 'cow' on true 'cud'...

  • I founf this only because I actually saw the episode, my neice was watching it and I was like..... really?

  • I cant wait to see a Sesame Street "Dexter"

  • "That's not mud, that's a potato!"

  • Is the muppet in the beginning Lafayette or tara?

  • @kendrat199 LOL idk , i think is lafayette

    XD

  • @kendrat199 it's definitely Lala... which is weird for SS....

  • haha merlottes shirt

  • the green puppet reminds me of Arlene. I don't know why

  • Comment removed

  • @kendrat199 That's cuz it is Arlene dumbass

  • @kctbthnd7 Okay, the fact that you're calling someone you don't know a dumbass for thinking a muppet has the semblance of a human character -and btw, that character isn't a redhead, so it's not actually Arlene's muppet character- just proves that you don't have a life. Do yourself and me a favor and shut the fuck up before you type.

  • They did this over katy parry -__-

  • And where prey tell is Eric in all this insanity?

Everyone knows True 'Mud' needs Eric ;33

  • That is the best thing I've ever seen! I love how mad Bill gets after Sheriff Dearborn tried to give him a "True Dud"! He threw a muppet-fit! hahahahaha! YEEEEAAASSS!

  • LOVE IT!

  • I REALLY hope the kids didn't get the reference

  • @JojoMcCloskey why not?

  • @JojoMcCloskey I don't think *I* get the reference. This is the least funniest thing I've ever watched.

  • I think I might actually be scared. No really.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha!! Lafayette! Oh gosh...

  • Sheriff Andy!!!!!!

  • Love it!!

  • o god sookies such a dumb blonde, i thought u said spud, spud mud spud mud, can it blondie

  • Is anyone else puzzled from this video? Or is it just me? I was really hoping for an Eric muppet. :) That would be one sexy muppet.

  • @TheBeatlesgirl66 It´s an allusion to the TV and book series "True Blood", for all of you, who don´t know.

  • @muhmuhkuhkuhmuh Okay, I was being snarky. I know it's a parody of "True Blood" I myself don't live under a rock. I have all the books and seasons on dvd. So, don't worry I'm very much educated on what is going on in this video.

  • this was stupid but it was funny because it wa strue blood

  • What the... Hell.

  • HAHAHA THE WAY I KNEW IT WAS LAYFAYETTE WAS THE CHAIN AROUND HIS NECK!!!!!! ANYONE ELSE???

  • ahhhh man this was awesome ...loved it ... they need to have some ALCIDE :)

  • It's funny and yet creepy lol

  • what the hell

  • I seen this on T.V this morning! Loved it! I love it when some cartoons chuck in something for the parents to giggle at! Way to go Sesame Street, still the best kids show!

  • The cow at the end was amazing:) Lafeyette is a sex bomb

  • If your children are asking to watch True blood u need to explain that your version is for adults and the SS one is theirs that way u get to share!

  • LAFAYETTE!!!
