Ohhh, that's what my problem was, I had to TAKE the photo first, ARG!! Should've thought of that one! For realz though I enjoyed your tutorial, that part just made me laugh.
Can't thank you enough. Just ... Amazing. Learned EVERYTHING I WANTED TO KNOW! Just don't know how I can thank you. Wondering why you don't have more subscribers...........
im not a photoshop expert, but i know my way around. i have been so lost on how to exactly make a photo have this effect. it actually looks more professional (in MY EYES) this way. so thank you sooooo much for being so kind as to help people (including me) with your videos :)
Mate. This doesn't look nice. I prefer to use Adobe Camera RAW to make this same effect without creating any layer. All you do is only add more contrast, temperature (about 9700), more black, less vibrance and less saturation.
Hi Thank you so much for sharing this!! I have a question, I use pse9 and I dont have a curves adjustmant layer but I am able to do the rest of the layes. what could I do instead of curves adjustment to get the same beautiful effect?
I really loved your tutorial! I would love to add this effect to multiple photos! Could you please give me a better understanding? Your answer to sixstring78 isn't enough for me dummie! :) Thanks a lot!
@RetroZombieee Yes, in Sony Vegas 9 it's actual. There is own plugin that goes with Sony Vegas, if I'm not mistaken "Vingette" and there you play around + add some color correction as he did here, you might get same result.
This is great. I am still working on Photoshop 6.0 and was able to get the vintage effect, but I cannot get the Lens Correction to frame the photo. Do you know a way I can get the blended framing like you did in CS4 in 6.0?
@sixstring78 Yeah, you can actually drag the effect layers such as the "Curves", "Hue/Saturation", etc over to other photos in your workspace. If you need a better understanding just reply to this comment.
@djbeto267 I really loved your tutorial! I would love to add this effect to multiple photos! Could you please give me a better understanding? Your answer to sixstring78 isn't enough for me dummie! :) Thanks a lot! Doris
@sixstring78 u could also set Photoshop actions. It's a way of simply programming the steps of a particular task you wish to carry out and set it, when ever you are ready to execute just run the action and it does the effect you require. Read up more on Photoshop actions if you're interested.
Will you make a video on how you make yours like starting with what recorder and setting you use and what software you use to render the project with the HD settings ?
great tutorial... just to ask you djbeto, do you know how to make cool aftereffects intro? and what's the diffrence between aftereffects and premiere elements
wow this is really good! thank you! x
