  • Awesome, more clearly explained than the other tutorials, thanks!

  • What does the smart filter do exactly?

  • Ohhh, that's what my problem was, I had to TAKE the photo first, ARG!! Should've thought of that one! For realz though I enjoyed your tutorial, that part just made me laugh.

  • you explain way too quick besides that its good.

  • Can't thank you enough. Just ... Amazing. Learned EVERYTHING I WANTED TO KNOW! Just don't know how I can thank you. Wondering why you don't have more subscribers...........

  • THANKS!!!!!

  • Thnks ! Really helped me !

  • love it!

  • awesome! Thank you!!

  • im not a photoshop expert, but i know my way around. i have been so lost on how to exactly make a photo have this effect. it actually looks more professional (in MY EYES) this way. so thank you sooooo much for being so kind as to help people (including me) with your videos :)

  • GENIUS!

  • Mate. This doesn't look nice. I prefer to use Adobe Camera RAW to make this same effect without creating any layer. All you do is only add more contrast, temperature (about 9700), more black, less vibrance and less saturation.

  • Hi Thank you so much for sharing this!! I have a question, I use pse9 and I dont have a curves adjustmant layer but I am able to do the rest of the layes. what could I do instead of curves adjustment to get the same beautiful effect?

  • thanks! great tutorial!

  • I really loved your tutorial! I would love to add this effect to multiple photos! Could you please give me a better understanding? Your answer to sixstring78 isn't enough for me dummie! :) Thanks a lot!

  • you are a living legend cheers for that

  • @1CavitePride1 well duh :p I just meant it moves to fast to really use the pause button.

  • great tutorial! thanks!

  • great!!!

  • THAT is too much damn work, lol.

    But it turns out perfectionate.

  • why my cs5 dont have lens correction ? mind help me :/

  • @hijrah Same problem! help us!

  • Great Tutorial! :D

  • Is there a way to make a video have this vintage effect?

  • @RetroZombieee Yes, in Sony Vegas 9 it's actual. There is own plugin that goes with Sony Vegas, if I'm not mistaken "Vingette" and there you play around + add some color correction as he did here, you might get same result.

  • @wwild2k Thanks :)

  • @RetroZombieee yes do the same damn thing in after effects

  • @RetroZombieee with adobe premiere sure

  • This is great. I am still working on Photoshop 6.0 and was able to get the vintage effect, but I cannot get the Lens Correction to frame the photo. Do you know a way I can get the blended framing like you did in CS4 in 6.0?

  • Your editing techniques are very nondestructive. Great job, I could learn how to save some photos from you. Good vid.

  • Niceee thx man

  • Great tutorial!

Is there any way to add this effect to multiple photos without having to do all these steps to each photo?

  • @sixstring78 Yeah, you can actually drag the effect layers such as the "Curves", "Hue/Saturation", etc over to other photos in your workspace. If you need a better understanding just reply to this comment.

  • @djbeto267 if i have 3200 frames for a animation that i want to add the same effect to, can i do this easy? can you copy all of these effects?

  • @djbeto267 I really loved your tutorial! I would love to add this effect to multiple photos! Could you please give me a better understanding? Your answer to sixstring78 isn't enough for me dummie! :) Thanks a lot! Doris

  • @indisdo I just made a tutorial for that. Check my channel.

  • @djbeto267 what is it called?

  • @sixstring78 u could also set Photoshop actions. It's a way of simply programming the steps of a particular task you wish to carry out and set it, when ever you are ready to execute just run the action and it does the effect you require. Read up more on Photoshop actions if you're interested.

  • @sixstring78 record an action then batch process in Bridge, adding the action, job done. That is if you like how this was done :(

  • i think this is the most useful one for the vintage touch! maybe its the one i was looking for. thanks for sharing this ;)

  • thanks man, this is so cool!!

  • Brilliant !!! and i didn't even had to listen to it .. just look at it !!! thanXX man!

  • Will you make a video on how you make yours like starting with what recorder and setting you use and what software you use to render the project with the HD settings ?

  • Damnly great toturial :) Thnx Dude

  • "It's okay Photoshop, you can do that. =)" - djbeto267

  • thanks! this'll come in handy in the future. (:

  • greattt tutorial :) very useful.

  • 1:51 there is no lens correction in my disort folder :(
