FF13 original looks far better than this. That game had creativity. It was futuristic. It had better ideas than this one. Friggin, the main character looks grey and emo as hell. Lightning had a tougher character and so forth. This is just plain "fantasy" and feels more like yakuza crap.

I understand your point, but that gives you no right to hate on FF13 Versus. FF13 was amazing, and you are right Lightning is an admirable character, i enjoyed every second of the game even the after gameplay of it doing side missions. But This trailer that you say is crap, was made almost 4 years ago around 2006, during the E3 event. And now that 13 is done, every member from that staff is now assisting in the Versus project including tetsuya himself, so expect something good.

A remake of VII probably will happen. If you look at what Square is doing right now, they're probably remaking the entire series up until X. They've finished the remake of I, II, III and IV. Although no word has come out, they're probably working on V right now.

So I'm counting there's going to be a remake, but it might not be on the platform you're expecting it to be (ie: perhaps a handheld)
