isn't highschool and exams the only thing that stress you out....idk, if i want to be sleeping at 2am working on cases. i would have like no social life outside my job....this is not for me
@blabla1233890 So don't do it. There are enough people that do want to do it that, I'm afraid to say, you won't be missed. Everyone who tries their hand at the bar knows what they're getting involved in.
I got my undergrad degree in Lit but I'm in the UK preparing to go to Law School in the Uk. I have to take a two year course to "transfer" my studies lol.
Ever since the evolution of this programme i have been addicted and determined into becoming a barrister. There is no room for error or take it easy only hard work will accomplish this destiny.
networking is very important... make sure you get loads of experience aswell as bieng as academic to put yourself aside in the competition, but never think its hard, everyone has the potential to do it, this programme is false.
Im also a law student in my 2nd year.. if you have the tenacity and determination for it, you will succeed.. but make sure those going for the bar.. to secure a mini -pupilage, not one, but a few in different areas of the country!! to get a better understanding, also scholarships secure whatever you can... its very tough and fierce, im talking about a gruelling career ahead of you, yet very satisfying and rewarding.. aspecially commercial Barristers.
I know Dickie Bond. I lived with the Bond family for over a year and he is a very kind, funny, intelligent and bright person. Great barrister who is very commited. And his family is very nice, too. I wish him success!
@4:33 Haha, he's running late. Poor guy
