Cops in North America are treated like royalty by the people we elect. It is time we united against this corrupt system and get our elected officials to do the right thing and start making police officers in North America accountable for their abuse of the public they are "HIRED" to "SERVE and PROTECT"! All police departments from there top down appear to be corrupt, corrupt, corrupt in North America, we need to elect wisely and elect people who will not stand for cops abusing the public.

My husband and I went to a Grateful Dead show in Orlando back in '94. Upon leaving the venue in downtown Orlando (don't remember the exact venue), we started coughing and wheezing. We learned later that the whole parking lot had been pepper-sprayed as an "experiment". Since I don't live in Orlando, I never heard anything else about it.

I got assaulted by an officer after I called him an asshole he asked me to repeat what I said and I said "I know my rights, and I'm lettin you know you guys are being assholes" then I got thrown to the wall by 2 cops, thrown against a chair and then a taser was put to my back in a position I could barely breathe, and I'm telling you now, if I didn't have a room full of witnesses on my side, I wouldve been charged with assault on a peace officer, which is penitentiary time.

@Krawnikal While I had unknowingly had a taser to my back at the time, I proceeded to tell them they were acting like dicks and proclaiming my innocence, I later told them I was pleading not guilty and fighting the charges if they decided to press charges, so they dropped it down to a "disturbing the peace" incident where I had to spend 10 hours in a drunk tank after having 2 beers....THEY ILLEGALLY SEIZURED THE PLACE AND CAME IN WITH NO WARRANT....So I called them assholes....and yeah....
