I have always said the civil right movement from an economic standpoint was a disaster for African Americans being forced to shop at their own stores. Which because of segregation didn't suffer competition from none blacks perhaps if civil rights was put off a little longer African Americans would be in a stronger position in economics. I have always said the civil right movement from an economic standpoint was a disaster for African Americans being forced to shop at their own stores. Which because of segregation didn't suffer competition from none blacks perhaps if civil rights was put off a little longer African Americans would be in a stronger position in economics. This is what really counts.
