In the same way there is a devotional (love/sacrifice) path , or a vendantic (non-duality)path, there are equaly tantric paths. The latter are the path of siddhis. But more correctly stated, they are paths that allow one to reach enlightenment by improving one's concentration, such that one can then truly meditate, to eventually attain enlightenment. The very difficult concentration & meditative practices are what lead one to attain siddhis. But they are just a side product, not the focus.
Very good discussion, I think youre correct about the ego problem. The siddhis will destroy people who don't have the EGO under control. Are u a Buddhist or just a hermet.

Our true self that we are all made of. I wish I could finaly achieve it fully - and stay in it with equilibrum while in this body. Then there is no even a small chace that the power could be used in unskillful maner - it just manifest by itself - theres no chance because you have the ALL control & nothing control U.
Yes & no. Yes - they can be used in unskillful way and then may be our obstacles in path - then there is no spirituality in them. And no - they are a spiritual steps - a possibilites of the higher mind that can be used in skillful maner in a spirit way. If we use them wise and with balance we can do it for the good of ourself or others.
ps I'am talking about it based on my own little experience (ld,oobe,visions) but mostly on my 'books knowledge'. I didnt attain any of thouse high/low siddhis.
