Are you sure you understood what I wrote? I don't know of any egg that is flat on the ends. Eggs are narrow at their "equator", the EXACT OPPOSITE of Earth, and the Earths variation in diameter is almost imperceptible.

For example: If you tell me the sky is purple, and it is in truth blue, and I don't believe you, that is honest. If you tell me that I am going to suffer and die in agony if I don't believe you, then my belief isn't sincere. You are forcing me to agree. What is such a belief truly worth?

If Quran says that it's an error.
The Earth is not shaped like an ostrich egg. Ostrich egg is a prolate spheroid with more than 13% difference in diameters. Earth is an oblate spheroid with LESS than 1% difference in diameters.
Of course it just says "spread out" like other verses.

Are you sure you understood what I wrote? I don't know of any egg that is flat on the ends. Eggs are narrow at their "equator", the EXACT OPPOSITE of Earth, and the Earths variation in diameter is almost imperceptible.
It's supposed to be a --PERFECT-- message from an all-knowing God, not a baby's blundering guess.

Maybe in Quran delusion world, but not in the real world. Are you from a different universe? I can't think of any eggs that aren't the opposite shape of Earth, not to mention that the diameter variation isn't even close to the same.
Eggs are narrow in the middle, and the Earth is more broad in the middle- but barely enough to distinguish with the naked eye- very unlike an egg.

This means Jesus knew the way where to prepare the place for Thomas, because no man came unto the Father (God) except Jesus, because hewas a prophet, and claimed that if people follow Jesus, they're following God. Jesus was a messenger, for those people, for that time.

Thank you, but seeing that people wage "jihaad" in the name of a religion which preaches peace tells me that it is not a logical ethical system. Further, I am willing to believe in god, a subject which science (which is really just observations about the natural world) makes no assertions about, but I am not willing to believe in miracles just because there is no immediate explanation. Does the Quran say anything about the theory of general relativity? Does that mean that there is no such thing?
