u know most of the people get wrong conceptions dat high tier players are best to play,Asuka is a very wonderful character,if used correctly ,it becomes a very difficult character to win against,perhaps Law and Bob are pretty gud but if a player can win with a low tier character ,i dont think Tier ranking do hav any effect.(My favorites are Baek ,King and Steve)

The reason is, Asuka's moves concists of moves with low frames, but because of that she doesn't deal lot of damage; Thus limiting the options of Asuka players to defend and delay catch or launch a surprising Low sweep to start a juggle. Most of her moves that deal a lot of damage has huge frames, meaning when blocked you'll be juggled.

the guy using steve could have won if he got into bully after those exchanges when they had a big gap between them in distance, steve has very unpredictable and long ranged punches while in bully can really mess up your opponents timing and distancing

its the stance that steve takes when u press forward and both kicks ( cud be wrong i havent played in a while) but yeah its called bully stance you cant block in that stance but youve got some nice combos and long range punches and the coolest grab in the game

Correct. They are both same game. Tekken 6 BR is just a simply updated version of the original Tekken 6. Tekken 6 BR includes 2 new characters(Lars and Alisa), more stages, new moves for existing characters, and rebalanced juggle system. Tekken 6 BR also have improved and nerfed some of the characters for the rebalancing purpose.

Actually, it is the latest updated BR version that will be released for console. Namco only simply named the console version as 'Tekken 6'. The original version will not be released for console due to its imbalances like overpowered characters and imbalanced combo systems.

what do u expect? something like guilty gear turning into blaz blue? Naw tekken is good the way it is and those little extra moves and characters does the trick. Who wouldn't love a large roster of characters that is pretty well balanced to me. I'm satisfied even wit not so big upgrade on the graphics. I really want to see the next 3d fighter that can stand up to this one. I want to see the next dead or alive game.

Whenever I watch Tekken 6 videos, the extraordinary amount of juggling makes me sort of unsure of whether or not I'll like it. Don't get me wrong, juggling is part of what makes Tekken so fun. It's just that I think the developers went a little overboard on Tekken 6.

its not bullshit. Every fighter has their own style; her's just happens to be continuous combos. While it means that, when using other characters, you need to be patient and more aware of timing, it doesn't mean Asuka user's an advantage. Asuka players have to be aware of whether their opponent has noticed patterns and weaknesses in her long combos because, once they do, these combos become detrimental

I agree every fighter has their own style(i mean, obviously) but hers has been made into something ridiculous. I have played against a lot of high ranking players online and when they use Asuka its absurd, just non stop combos with a variety of highs mids and lows which can string together forever, plus she has a good overall moveset. And even when the opponent recognizes the combos, if she launches you in the air she can juggle you there for a WHILE. Trust me, she's rigged and its bullshit

I suppose you're implying that, at the highest level of skill in tekken, Asuka's moveset gives the player an advantage despite equal skill levels?

I remember fighting my friend waaayyyy too many rounds in a row with him using steve, me using asuka. I've used Jun since tekken 2, so i notice her weaknesses off hand. Asuka/Jun has always had a weakness to mid, and the moves take a while to start up. Generally she can only get hits on very very close range, and overall steve is the faster player. like some on said, she hits low to high, rinse repeat. However, her mid is usually left open during most of her attacks.

Well the juggling part is part of the game. if you were to not be able to juggle it would take away the point of practicing day in and day out for major tournaments. the combos would be less appealing, much shorter, and easily stopped. the game is about focus, and not letting your guard down for a second, and reading moves. the juggling by all means is fair. imagine without it. hit hit hit (block) hit hit hit (block) and so forth. less skills involved without juggling o_O

Juggling is ok but in moderation. I mean, fucking unrealistic juggles that can kill you just piss me off. Like i'll hit an opponent a couple of times in the air and do avg. 40 dmg. But I won't fucking launch a guy in the air and take out 3/4's to all of his health bar.
