  • LOL! Another one of Wallace's funniest inventions! I love the Soccamatic! This episode of Wallace & Gromit's Cracking Contraptions is absolutely hilarious and amazing! By the way, this episode might've helped England make it to the 2002 World Cup. Possibly.

I didn't use claymation cos I hadn't any money for clay and found it hard to find so made it using cut out animation.

  • got to love that dog. and his master.

  • Better In 3-D

  • The video is recorded in 2002 then aardman uploaded it in 2005

  • @mindblowing1 I don't know how perverts like you manage to relate everything you see to sex as you have just sadly demonstrated.

learn some respect before coming on youtube.

  • Edit in 3-D!

  • its smashing!

  • Shows that are uploaded officially to Youtube include the air date, not upload date.

  • how is this released in 2002???? YouTube was made in 2005??

  • @MyChannelCool LOL it wasn't specifically made for youtube.

  • woah, this was made in 2002

  • 2002???????????//

  • In a world of digital animation, there's something reassuring about seeing claymation still being made. Having done a little stop motion animation in high school, I have a deep respect for Nick Park and his crew of fellow maniacs. Each tiny move of anything in the set moved by hand, and most of the time for every two frames. Slow, painstaking work, but the end result is worth it. May Aardman live long into the future!

  • @Mechknight73 I AGREE WITH YOU

  • @Mechknight73 True man, Stop motion animation is undervalued, it just has a character and texture CGI hasn't been able to match. I also think its the rustic feel of the clay animation that really gives Wallace and Gromit a truly British tone.

  • @CidHighwindRocks Not to mention that although time consuming, the dedicated people at Aardman Animation Studios would be far more satisfied with their work than somebody sketching and rendering in CGI. In a way, it looks far more real in clay stop-motion because everything in it is a "real" object.

  • @Mechknight73 Good point. It's definitely true that the guys at Aardman put a hell of alot of time, skill and effort into their productions. Not to mention some of the crazy good problem solving they've done. The train chase scene in The Wrong Trousers still fascinates me

  • 1:27 The Sphinx from Mystery Men, LOL.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • HAHA! i love Walace and Gromit!

  • 15 lovelol

  • lol there is a picture of shaun the sheep on Wallace's football shirt. God how I love this and that show.

  • i love it!!

  • lol. Gromit's invention is so simple it's brilliant.

also,i think the reason they didn't call it the footballomatic (despite the fact they're English, and the american version is hardly played with your feet anyway) is because it's not as punchy.

  • Not to split hairs, but wouldn't it be called the Preston North Footballomatic? They DO live in england, so they call it football there...

    Anyway, awesome.

  • I'm so happy it's PNE. I live there!

  • well nick youve done it again - i only wish your father could have seen it. - dear roger.

  • @lucyinwonderland101 Hehe, me too! That's my fave Wallace & Gromit music aside from the main theme. xD It was used in "A Grand Day Out" when Wallace & Gromit are in their basement building the rocket. <3

I love how in this, Wallace is "being" footballers who would have been playing when he were a lad. "Its a rocket from Geoff Hurst!", "Shankley!", "Stanley Matthews!" Classic stuff :)

"...Now, that's just not cricket Gromit! Anyone for tennis, perchance?" Lmao I adore Wallace & Gromit!

  • Nah, PNE. Theyre all from Lancashire, Tom finney and Bill Shankley were preston players, we've got stands named after them

  • Maybe but then when have PNE played with blue and white horizontal stripes?

  • Our first 3 kits were blue and white stripes, then again for a bit in the 94/95 season. He also says the machine is a PNE soccomatic and says the names of all our most famous players. And he's from Lancashrie. He supports PNE

  • And Wallace's shirts got a sheep on, like PNE's lamb

  • at 1:13 he says "oh heck, im out of balls"
