The last Herald Mage series. This particular part of the story isn't in the books, only mentioned a few times. It happens between Book 1 and 2.

Amazing Series.
Vanyel is my absolute favorite character in any novel.

True. All the other people in the novels that I read aren't nearly as human as Vanyel.
