@4316abcd Nice Nice! I miss my Raider. Im currently building an 1100 Blater right now. It's not gonna be anywhere near top end like my Gp1300R or what my Raider was, but hoping for it to just be fun as hell.
It's a great ski. It's a lot of fun to spin around and it's very fast as well. A tank of gas which is around 10 gallons lasts me the day. The manual says the tank lasts at full throttle for an hour but I've never had to fill it during a day of fun. If I had the option of picking another one up I would.
How is the handling on the 1100? I found one for sale local, but dont' know much about them. I like an aggresive hull / handling so you can really tear it up and get wet. Also, how is the gas usage on it? - Thanks!
@Aggrav8e the one I posted on here has been modified. high compression heads, pump, impeller, intake grate, ride plate, 5 degree nozzle, jet works valve, flame arrestors. I used to have a video of what it looked like and everything before i sold it...might have to upload it sometime soon. Yea, 63 speedo (about 57-58 GPS) is what they run stock. mine would run 63-64 gps (69-73 speedo) but it ripped out of the hole...even way quicker out of the hole than my 1300R.
@codemanrose nice. I rebuilt the driveline last year and had to rebuild the carbs, but other than that it's run like a top. I have about 200 hours on it. I'm wondering if there is one key upgrade that is worth doing above any others? I dont want to throw money at the thing, but it would be nice to get a little more out of it.
@Aggrav8e yes! if you are gonna do any updrade but don't want to throw too much...just do the 5 degree GP1200 nozzel (has to be 98-99 GP1200 because the 97's were 0 degree like the raiders) lifts the front up and gives you a little more top end. Also a little on from that, cut the center bars out of the stock intake grate if you ride on flat water. Stock intake grate cut is still the fastest on flat water. And a solas 13/19 concord impeller. With those 3 things you can see about 4 mph increase.
@codemanrose was that a stock machine on your video post? I can't get mine above 63. Runs great, but hits a wall at high speed. Not that my big butt isn't helping...
