odd, seemed like it was in third but I guess that with 1000hp in 4th gear it is about the same speed through the power band as 700hp would be in 3rd ;) Although the spindle doesn't seem like its spinning that quick after either :/ Good vid tho props to Russell's hard work and great shop.

Damn... That's pretty insane. Zeds were never design to go solely fast in a straight line, I think Russel's 'Vert is the definition of "Balls out". I just think it's funny that my little 400whp Honduh can match what he's running with almost 3 times my power. Like I said, the word "Spinning" comes to mind, haha.
Maybe you should clarify what you mean by "match what he's running" cause you sure arent gonna be anything but a spec in his rearview mirror with your hon-duh. That was the first thing I got rid of when I got my Z. When its in great working condition its a nice feature. Mine was failing though and there is nothing like going around a curve at a high rate of speed and feeling like the rear wheels aren't connected to anything.
That's pretty sad for 1,051whp... The word "Spinning" comes to mind though, haha. If it could hook up, it would easily turn 2 seconds lower than that.
Sure it puts out 4-digit HP but it doesn't do very well in 1/4 mile. Not to talk crap or anything... I love that they were able to get that HP out of a VG engine and shut everyone up. Very impressive engine-work. That thing is a monster!
Now let's hope that Z1 focuses more on 1/4 or some other kind of racing because letting this car stay a dyno-queen is a waste in my opinion!
The whole point of this car is to display Z1's abilities to build a monster. I talked to Skyler @ Z1 and he said this car rarely leaves the show room. It's beautiful in person, and even with its 13" tires, still manages to spin on the dyno. Impressive.

this is the best z32 out there...thousand plus hp....widebody kit...its beauuuuuutifullll....i got convertible z myself....they only made 3976 of the convertible z's .....but russells z is incomparible
