Poor people must've had to set up those dominoes several times. I mean, there is a red domino standing in the background at 3:46 yet, but not in the final take... I wonder how much time it took...?
The domino scene (where V tips over black and red dominoes to form a giant letter V) involved 22,000 dominoes, was assembled by four professional domino assemblers, and took 200 hours to set up.
It's a shame the whole thing was completely toned down from the book. They turned V from an anarchist to a democracy posterboy. Can you imagine if they left in the scene where Finch takes LSD at Larkhill? Hollywood has no balls. I reckon all the critisism of the Church will be watered down in the Golden Compass movie too.
This must be from the directors cut. The version I saw in the cinema was a watered and dumbed down version of the novel. The scene where the soldier shoots a woman stealing a can of food in the novel I thought was sorely missed in the movie, goo to see it mad it in at least in some form
epic

uh fingermen are relating to the book. in the comic, there was the ear, the eye, the nose, and the mouth. finger men were the civilian police.

"So do you know whats gonna happen?"
"No. It was a feeling....but I can guess....with so much chaos someone will do something stupid."
"And when they do. Things will turn nasty."

Is that Evey at 1:57? What's going on in that scene? It lasts for about a second, but it looks like Evey and Finch living together or something.
