  • This is the reason why anyone would utilize a Helio Super Courier, when you get really good you can get off in half the distance. Lycoming GO-480-G1D6 (295) HP, geared Lyc's turn high rpm's while the prop spins slow, great for torque..

  • Thats a beautiful plane you have there, how many seats, four? Nice place too.

  • Six seats. 295 HP Lycoming GO-480. Hartzell 96" 3-bladed prop.

  • wheres this at? looks like theres enough space to come in hot! knew a guy used to fly a courier from peru to houston every summer

  • I'm flying a Helio Courier in the Blue Ridge mountains. This runway is called Valhalla (self titled by training department). The runway is on private property that was mowed for our use. It is 900ft long and the touchdown zone is 50ft lower than the top of the runway.

  • nice. i do bushflying in mexico we have a runway similar to it. its also about 900 to 1000ft long sitting at about 6500ft. it the approach end also sits id say about 50 ft lower. actually you cant see the runway end when you are taking off until you hit the slope and start coming down. its a hair raising experience. and on the landing you feel like yore going to run into the runway.
