LRAD is not a military class weapon. NYC police uses it to control riots. Some luxury cruises ship also use LRAD to repel pirates. Another lie from Watson.
They use LRAD in Bagdhad, but that itself does not make it a "military class." If you go to the manufacturer site, you will see that there are different models: a model developed for military purposes, a model developed for commercial purpose/crowd control. Japan was using the latter.

If they were wanting to sink the Whalers, they'd do a full T-Bone on the Whale Ship, Using the sharp bow to cut through the hull broadside, warping the bulkheads enough for the watertight doors to jam and not shut properly. That ( by accident) is how the Andrea Doria and the Empress of Ireland went down.

The fact that the leading western countries allow this TRAVESTY to occur while there are clear rules about whaling is riddiculous.

If there was a IDC (International Deer Commission) that allowed you to take a deer out of season for research and then sell the meat in season and what you were doing was well within the "treaty" signed....then, sure it would be fine.

They use LRAD in Bagdhad, but that itself does not make it a "military class." If you go to the manufacturer site, you will see that there are different models: a model developed for military purposes, a model developed for commercial purpose/crowd control. Japan was using the latter.

Watson has been to Iceland, and did some jail time after claiming responsibility for sinking of whaling vessels in 1986. SS lost its observer status at the IWC because of this claim.
He hasn't gone back there ever since. My guess is that he is scared of being arrested as a pirate and prosecuted.

There seems to be some racist overtones in the environmental movement. How many black and brown children died from mosquito borne illnesses when DDT was banned? How many African people can be saved from starvation from genetically engineered crops?
History has shown that it is easier to demonize adifferent culture or race.
I suppose that whaes are more important than Asian people. So it's OK to ram a ship and endanger a crew if they are Japanese.
