Looks cool. I'm really impressed you could do that without any preparation or thoughts about the model in beforehand.

I'm curious. How well does this scale when you need to bring down the poly count, like smooth areas to be joined/merged to save space?

i.e 3DS Max's "Optimize" modifier

If you can find a setting where it looks decent (but with Level of Detail on L2),

what would the poly count be before and after, and how much would it mess up the model?
