They should be denied the right to treat people. The oath doctors take is to treat anyone, not according to their own biast. I wouldnt want their hateful hands on me anyway, AND I HAVE HEATH INSURANCE. before I would sent a dime his way, i'd drive miles to another doctor.
Notice how the politician "Floats" out the idea first by restating the position of the doctor, then gauges the reaction, then tailors his response to the crowd by asking mostly questions in return? This guy is good. First and foremost. But really the lie about Andrew Brietbart putting up a bounty on someone vetting those incidents is absurd. Seriously if he has, let me know. I could use the cash.
What were those clowns applauding? Here's the problem with that - it's a first amendment right to tell people you don't want to treat them, but your oath as a doctor and your medical license can and should be revoked for these kinds of actions. I'm sure there's a mafia family that could use an underground urologist, you can go serve them, but your license should be revoked.
The tea party is not going to vote for right wing republicans. They are going to vote against left wing democrats.
Sadly that's the only choice we have. Hopefully we'll come to understand that voting against a party will never work. We have to eventually vote for something.
Funny that it was only after Obama was elected that the teabaggers-to-be began voicing their negative feelings toward Bush. Before then, they were 100% defenders and supporters of Bush.
@34601k "is it just me or is the tea party becoming the new face of the kkk"
It's not just you. Don Black, former Grand Imperial Wizard of the KKK, founder of Stormfront and the White Nationalist Movement, is a proud member of the TEA Party -- as are John Ubele of the Nationalist Coalition in Florida, Erich Gliebe of the Nationalist Alliance in W Virginia, and Billy Roper of the White Revolution in Arkansas. White Supremacists are targeting the TEA Party for infiltration.
And this man came along and saw another man lying in the ditch in need of medical attention but because the man wasn't like him, he denied him care and turned away and walked off.
@hughster41 Well.. You still had to pay for other people before, if you think about it. If other people being covered by your insurance company were in bad health and your insurance company had to pay out money for care for those individuals, then everyones premiums would have to go up to cover those costs! The insurance companies do not want to lose money, and they will recoup their 'expenses'. So in that sense, it's not much different than it was before. You still have to pay for others care.
from the day you drive and insure a car you are insured on millions,
just in case you hit a gas tank ...what is the matter , not a good idea, the one thing like the other? should i deny to cover a high-schoole-driver, i would , just shape the discussion , and I* ll be all over it. best idea ever.
@hughster41 Not really. You can still have your same doctor. And you are still insured by your insurance company. Your freedom of choice is not affected at all! All that changed are tighter rules on the insurance companies so they cannot deny care from certain people with pre existing conditions.
Again, you freedom to choose your doctor is not affected by this bill at all.
I love how Fleming was basically hinting that they should be careful to keep their racist comments to themselves because they don't want the media to hear it.
sigh this jack casell or whatever his name is doesnt deserve the title of doctor. allowing your political views to get in the way of your obligation to treat a patient is morally wrong and anyone who allows this to happen should have their license revoked
@hughster41 it's not me, the independent DEATH PANEL will decide what treatments are unnecessary and unproductive according to the latest science and make recommendations! It's much like how doctors get taught in universities what to do, nothing special, only cutting waste.
I don't know what "doctor fix" you're talking about.
Why would they quit seeing medicare patients again?
Please make at least one coherent argument because these are complicated issues and just throwing words out won't help.
@hughster41 providing health services is not an ordinary business, even if he doesn't accept Medicare and Medicaid payments, not everybody can practice it.
You need to prove your education and follow certain ethical guidelines in healthcare, because there is a huge risk involved and a cancer patient can't second-guess or punish the provider according to free market laws!
@Kapan60 How do you walk into a protester when their is a barricade between them? he was walking up the stairs and the guy leaned over and spit on him while yelling at him. what a loser that teabagger is. hes lucky he didn't spit on me I would of ripped his ass over that railing and beat his head into the concrete steps until he was smarter than Palin

He hasnt turned anyone away because in the end he realized perhaps most of his patients voted for Obama which would mean he would lose half the money he makes off of them. But seriously, if you were a democrat knowing how much this doctor resents you, would you chance it with him to be treated? Wouldnt you think twice? Or would you prefer a doctor who doesnt give two shits about politics and just loves treating people?
@Rata4You He lives in a highly Republican District so I doubt seriously there are all that many Obama voters. Not only that but he has been outspoken about his political views for years. Most of the locals know this but they continue to go to him because he is a very well respected doctor. There is no reason for him to leave his 1st Amendment Right at home when he comes to work everyday.
Speaking of rodeos, I just rode a mechanical bull a couple weeks ago here in NYC! It was AWESOME! You couldn't pay me to mount one of those Tea Baggers though.

@getnick77 In point of fact, you have no idea whether there were "hundreds of video cameras there," nor do you know for certain what happened, unless you were there. The whole idea that "if it wasn't captured on videotape it did not happen" is pretty stupid. The life and words of Jesus Christ were not captured on video, either, so I'm guessing you agree that they must not have happened, either.
look at all the idiot liberal kool aid drinking TYT loon followers. Why you guys hate America so badly is a mystery to me. This doctor has NOT refused to treat anybody, he is just exercising His rights under the Constitution that you liberla haters want to get rid of.
This is a LIBERAL COUNTRY, dude. President Obama is a liberal and he decides what this country stands for. Its now about medical justice. Seriously, mate, this "socialist" thingy has always been here. Chrysler, Ford, GM, Banks, Insurance Companies, politician...they all receive socialized benifits. The fight is to prevent YOU from receiving it because the pig trough can only fit so many piggies. If you wanna bug out, then leave! LOL
But it certainly is interesting that you would voluntarily leave the trough just so the bigger piggies can eat in peace. You are some kinda hero, dude. Wow!!!
As usual the truth is distorted for other's gain. Yes he did put that sign on his door, but he never refused to treat patients. He just expressed his views and continued treating ALL patients that came to him.
I love how they're applauding flat out saying people who believe differently than you do or vote differently than you do should be denied medical treatment. But they're always saying only THEY are the REAL, GOOD, TRUE Americans? Riiiight. I don't remember America being based on some rule that says that EVERYONE must think like YOU, OR ELSE...
I'm sorry, as much as Conservatives regularly piss me off, if I were a doctor, I would never, EVER deny a Conservative medical treatment! Denying someone medical care based on their political stance is disgusting.
Wow the guy was using the same rhetorical tricks I'd use on elementary schools kids to listen to me. "You know your really smart but you need to relax, other adults don't understand you like I do"
man. i knew the teabaggers have no idea what they're talking about, but even their leaders just blather and connect dots that have nothing to do with eachother. WTF was the point of that guys speech?
y is this just coming into my sub box i mean it was up b4 but when it was blippy and the new 1 just came up now o well w/e not a big deal ha bisky upload
Now Democratic teachers should not teach Republican kids, Democratic firefighters should not protect Republicans' property, Democratic lawyers should not defend Republicans, Democratic cashiers should not receive payment etc etc
Everybody can see why we can't have this and they should throw that medical "doctor" out on the street without the right to practice medicine. It's a bit harsh but this is the only way a modern society can function.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
as much as liberals hate things like liberty, freedom, and the constitution, this doctor has something called FREEDOM OF SPEECH, only a liberal could say that everyone in the country has to support their tyrannical president or else their crazy or theyl be arrested (like that christian survival club that was arrested because they spoke against fuhrer obama) and the majority of americans support the tea party because we are the majority.
@tehant1liberal Fox news reports 130% of Americans support teabaggers, 75% of Americans are undecided and 220% love Obama. Polling accuracy is said to be +/- 200%
uh, no. Like I said... USA TODAY REPORTED ON THE FRONT PAGE ONLY 28% SUPPORT THEM. You're basically saying a reputable national newspaper is either lying or seriously incompetent. Where's your source for your statistic?
... fox news polls... Yeah, undeniable proof that a republican base supports a republican movement. Now, how about involving the rest of Americans... you know, independents, liberals, etc.
denying people medical services because u don't like their politics is not freedom of speech. It goes against the hippocratic oath, it's immoral and it's downright inhuman. I guess the term what would jesus do no longer rings true with conservatives and even christians for that matter.
What the fuck is wrong with these ignorant people. They are so vindictive. They want to without health care from those they disagree with? These are the same people who claim to be Christian. That doctor should have his license revoked.
This doctor should have his license revoked. A doctor should be worried about saving lives, not discriminating against people who think different them.
Cheesy rodeo movie? That's 8 Seconds, the life story of Lane Frost. And it wasn't made by a "91210 kid" ... it starred an actor from 90210, that's all.
@KaiLuck "did you know that 20-30% of voters voted for Obama strictly because he was black?"
Did YOU know that between 16-24% of White voters voted AGAINST Obama strictly because he was black? That translates into 25-30 million racist votes -- more than the total number of Black voters in the country.
That very doctor did a radio interview, and when asked what his issue was, he was proven completely wrong, and his rebuttal was that he, like most Americans, relies on the internet for his info. That doctor didn't even read the bill.
The tea party is a self extinguishing trend. It's like a reality show, the first season is pretty watchable, but by the 3rd season, it's just ridiculous, and un-watchable.
The associations between white supremacy leaders and the tea party are not helpful either.
@fret2424 For a real eye-opener, search "Don Blankenship, Massey Energy, Speaking at Friends of America Rally 4" on You Tube and watch Don Blankenship, Pres & CEO of Massey Energy, owner of the W Va mine where 29 miners just died due to safety violation, who spent more than $1 million on the Tea Party's "Friends Of America Rally" on Labor Day 2009, as he joins Sean Hannity, Ted Nugent & Hank Williams Jr in speaking about how Unions and Government regulations cause lost mine jobs and kill miners
This is sick I thought any doctor had to sign or read an oath about treating all? Or is it my little unicorn rainbow world that every doctor should look past who the person voted for and just treat them cause they need help, and cause you should be a doctor cause you want to help people not judge them cause of a vote.
0:59 The problem is not the media is deamonizing him - the problem is that he's an asshole and also breaking the Hippocratic Oath, and in some states for a doctor to deny patient medical attention can even be considered criminal. Stupid RepubliCUNTs .. grow some brains and some balls.
I love how he doesn't even consider for a moment the impropriety of the doctor's action!
He just casually mutters something about his 1st Amendment Rights.
So basically any form of discrimination you wish to implement is now covered under the 1st Amendment??? If I put a sign saying "Ni**ers, find treatment somewhere else?" that's acceptable?
I love how when she's rebutting Obama's statement that she's not known for being a nuclear weapons expert she does the famous 'nukular' mispronunciation about 5 times. And no, she wasn't trying to be ironic. ;)
WTF? You cannot deny anyone care for reasons like this! Seriously, what would have happened if you put up a sign that said Muslims, Blacks, or any other religious or minority group seek help elsewhere. That would not fly!
The guy should lose his medical license... nuff said... You want to choose based on politics who you give health care to... you are not a doctor... priority number one for a doctor... keep patients healthy.. sidenote.. i wouldn't want a doctor who can't see through the bs that the politicians spew out.. most doctors know that very little change has actually occurred with obama's plan.. doctors do a real job and are above the corrupt politicians in my eyes
When Neugebauer yelled "Baby Killer!" at Stupak on the floor of Congress, several Republican legislators, including Michele Bachmann alleged that it came from the public observation gallery and was said by a Democratic plant, although they were plainly in a position to see and hear who actually said it. Every minute of THAT event was filmed, and still it was not certain who was responsible until Neugebauer eventually came forth and confessed.
Media demonize!? HE IS A DOCTOR REFUSING CARE TO PATIENTS BASED ON POLITICAL VIEWS! Views he cannot explain, and when he does he lies...
Did you know that the media made up the deficit, the war in iraq, the illegal wire tapping, the torturing, the mishandling or national disasters, the deregulation of wall street, the unemployment... etc... Obviously the media made this up, Bush was smart and good.

What if a doctor put up a sign saying "If you didn't vote for Obama seek medical treatment elsewhere!"
Hmmm.....

DelusionalAngel 1 year ago 19
I'm sorry, as much as Conservatives regularly piss me off, if I were a doctor, I would never, EVER deny a Conservative medical treatment! Denying someone medical care based on their political stance is disgusting.

It's a bit harsh but this is the only way a modern society can function.
pinochet222 1 year ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
as much as liberals hate things like liberty, freedom, and the constitution, this doctor has something called FREEDOM OF SPEECH, only a liberal could say that everyone in the country has to support their tyrannical president or else their crazy or theyl be arrested (like that christian survival club that was arrested because they spoke against fuhrer obama) and the majority of americans support the tea party because we are the majority.

denying people medical services because u don't like their politics is not freedom of speech. It goes against the hippocratic oath, it's immoral and it's downright inhuman. I guess the term what would jesus do no longer rings true with conservatives and even christians for that matter.

-If it was they can choose who to treat.
-If they do this they can choose to not treat the opposing party´s members.
Capitalists wants to privatize the world.
-If Capitalists are a majority they will privatize.
-If Capitalists are a majority most doctors will probably be Capitalist.
-These doctors will be able to Kill the oppositions sick members!

This is sick I thought any doctor had to sign or read an oath about treating all? @OcularPolitics "I don't think it happened."
